“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. Great value too, £50 for four of us. Perfect!”

“I love coming here for a breather by myself or with my little boy. He absolutely loves it, Lindsay is a gem and her food is delicious. The freshly made milkshakes go down a treat with my boy, the tea is spot on and the hot food is always tasty. There are lots of walks in the area so it's a great place to start or finish at.”

“Not sure where the people giving bad reviews were but this lovely place is a little hidden gem. Been several times and brought other family and friends. Lovely friendly staff, food is tasty and plentiful (and yes we have tried several different things from the menu). Super fast service and our drinks have always been served just before the food. Perfect :) The garden seating is really tranquil and relaxing. We recommend this to anyone, you won't be disappointed!”

“Me and my partner started coming here over 2 years ago, we had walked past seeing “cocktails, coffee and pizza” which my partner turned to say it’s a place made for me (I often have a cocktail, water and coffee when out). We have been on sunny days in their outside area and inside - both carry the amazing by atmosphere and impeccable music taste. The staff are friendly and maintain really good service, very relaxed and chilled vibes no matter what time of year. Families, friends and dogs are welcome too! The food - we have tried many of their options but have come to have a standard order of the pepperoni hot honey pizza and pumpkin base with ‘nduja and cheese pizza . These are amazing, the dough is unlike most other places, that the crust alone is something to look forward too. The pumpkin is a personal fave, again hard to find else where and even if you can it’s nowhere near as moreish! They also have amazing vegan and gluten free options - which I have tried the vegan, and again, amazing quality and taste. They do have dessert options- the baked cheesecake is also a must try, not normally a fan of them but I for sure have been won. Sad to see this little place go but well deserved and excited to see the new place just down the road! Hoping it goes well and will be back when it opens!”

“Best sandwich shop in South Manchester by a mile, have been coming here for well over 10 years. Lynn and the team are fantastic, always happy to see you. The food is outstanding and exceptionaly good value. I HIGHLY reccomend a Shark Special with bacon, although I've tried nearly all the menu over the years and there is not a single item I didn't enjoy. Do call ahead for quick pickup, it is busy between 11.30-2.”

The food quality and variety was excellent, and we both received excellent customer service. The lovely ladies behind the counter gave us several travel recommendations, often asking us on our next visit how our day trips had been. I have also been to the Bakehouse on previous trips back home, and have always had consistent 5 star service, food and drinks. “We went for brunch and both had the bacon on sourdough ciabatta with black pudding and one with a fried egg. They were much larger than expected (no complaint there!), perfectly cooked and delicious. Allergens were checked for on ordering. The staff were pleasant, polite and helpful. Loved the style and atmosphere, looking forward to going again. Oh and the coffee was fab!”
