“My two girls have been with Damien Hey Dance Academy for six months, and we couldn’t be happier. Both Damien and Sam always go above and beyond to make sure all of their students achieve what they are capable of, but more importantly provide a nurturing environment that their kids feel happy in and are made to feel part of the DHDA family as soon as they walk through the door for the first time! They are fully invested from day one! Both girls already having danced for a number of years at a different school, we made the move to DHDA and the incredible progress they have both made absolutely makes the 490 mile round trip for lessons worth it! So very thankful for all CPA do for my daughter and seeing how much she has flourished under their care, training and guidance during the past 3 years has been a joy to see. We travel quite a distance to attend CPA, but is worth every mile and cannot recommend enough. My daughter is now going onto attend the Classical Pathway Btec course at CPA and we are over the moon that this is an option for dancers leaving school wishing to consider a career within this industry. “Alice has been attending dance studio 1 since 2 1/2 years old and is now 15 She went in as a shy toddler and her confidence has grown immensely. She's done numerous exams in ballet,tap and theatre craft. Every 2 years she's taken part in a stage performance open to the public to watch. Since starting high school she’s become a studio assistant. Helping out with all the younger ones. Because of this Alice had just received a recognition at St Monica's for her dancing and kindness in helping others.Her dancing helped her through the pandemic as it continued throughout on zoom. I cant believe how much Alice has progressed since the beginning. It's not just dancing anymore it's literally her second family. Alice is in her GCSE year at school and dancing is her release for when revising gets tough. Exercise is so important to enable a healthy mind which helps with revision. She's made so many life long friends along the way and so have I. Thank you all at the studio for being so lovely, caring and most of all being the best Lynn x”

“A very pleasant evening spent here. Most of this theatre is very old but kept quite fresh with the cleanliness. I didn't come across any mustiness that the old cinema had (that was) down the road. Staff were as nice and friendly. A few sound difficulties, but the actors were able to broadcast their voices around.”
