“Dishoom Spinningfields is one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. When it first opened back in 2018, it was Dishoom’s first restaurant in Northern England, and since then they’ve set a remarkable standard of both food and service quality and certainly left me coming back for more. The interior is super impressive, cool and unique. Dishoom is based on the old Irani cafés in Bombay, and the interior is so large and feels like no other restaurant in the city. My go-to dishes are the Chicken Ruby with Basmati Rice and occasionally the Gunpowder Potatoes. The portion sizes are generous, and the rich spices of the curry are super good — it’s obvious they use great quality ingredients and seasonings. For drinks, again the selection is vast, with my favourites being the regular Chai and the Mango Lassi, which are both really good. There is always a staff member walking around topping up tap water, so you’ll never go thirsty. The pricing is a little high, but I feel it is worth it for the quality. Matka Holders can also roll a dice at the end of their meal to potentially earn everything for free, food and alcohol included, during certain times. This makes it all fun, being able to put the meal on the roll of a dice. Due to having an allergy, I can scan a QR code on the menu for the latest information, and all the staff members are well trained in dealing with allergies. They’re aware of coeliac disease and the danger of cross-contamination, and always keep my items separate from my friends’ when I dine in a group. Overall, this is one of the places to be in Manchester if you’re looking for good food with fantastic allergy awareness, overall ambience/vibes, food and service quality. It’s a place that you can go for a special occasion or even a quick lunch (although a lunch menu / meal-deal offer would make it even more enticing for sure!).”

“Fatayar and Shawarma is a great spot for delicious shawarma and fatayar. The shawarma is packed with juicy, well-seasoned meat, and the fatayar is freshly baked with flavorful fillings. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable. The takeaway service is quick, making it perfect for a fast and tasty meal. Whether you’re craving a classic wrap or a warm pastry, this place won’t disappoint. Highly recommended for a satisfying bite on the go!”

“Staff are all absolutely lovely. I come here often and have always been served by lovely employees, not a single complaint. They're all wonderful people and make this a shop I'm happy to come to all the time! Apart from the lovely employees the stock here is always good and it is in a very convenient location.”

“Always a great experience shopping at Manchester Superstore Oldham. The shelves are always fully stocked with a wide range of products. The fruit and vegetables are always fresh and nicely presented. Staff are great and helpful. I would highly recommend shopping at this store.”

“Ordered tonight and they didnt get the pizza toppings correct, a quick call to the restaurant and they had us a replacement pizza out and it was with us within 20 minutes. Great service here with no fuss or arguing. Perfect service given to fix a small problem. 10/10 would order again just for the fact they took ownership of their mistake and fixed the issue.”

“I've ordered numerous times from here & on the main my orders have been successful. Today I made a large order which was spot on & the beyond pizza was really good & I would highly recommend others to try them if you're vegetarian or just trying to reduce meat intake as they are really tasty. “We tried A Star pizza this evening and it was great. You can tell they only use great quality ingredients, definitely the best pizza and the only place well be going from now on. Good price as well. “Not sure where the people giving bad reviews were but this lovely place is a little hidden gem. Been several times and brought other family and friends. Lovely friendly staff, food is tasty and plentiful (and yes we have tried several different things from the menu). Super fast service and our drinks have always been served just before the food. Perfect :) The garden seating is really tranquil and relaxing. We recommend this to anyone, you won't be disappointed!”
