“We visit this cafe on our lunch breaks a lot and the owners cannot do enough for you. Always makes whatever you ask and nothing is any trouble. Food always spot on!!!”

“First time visit last night..what a treat!! Authentic Ethiopian dishes (meat and vegetarian) and freshly ground Ethiopian coffee. So friendly and shared stories of coffee ceremony. Will be back!”

“Went in with the Mrs for some scran. She had french toast I had the full breakfast. Both tasted amazing. Presentation of the food was nice. The hot drinks were amazingly good. Credit to the coffee machine they use- definitely high quality. The shop is all tones of grey and blush and looks top. They have this smart looking glass salon section where my mrs went for lazer hair removal before food. Fun concept for the ladies or men who like aesthetics. Definitely go again.”

“Wanted to try the food from the cafe since it opened. The food always looked amazing & some great reviews. I went for veggie Thai green curry & Jasmin rice. The food arrived on time. Smelt lovely & Piping hot. The food tasted delicious, the fresh veg not soggy. The whole dish was full of flavour not overpowering. Highly recommend. Delivered with a smile. Give this place a go if you enjoy Thai food.”

“Lovely food,I had the plater 4 1 delious humus and olives and the red cabbage salad is fab. My husband had a BIT he said it was the best he's ever had!. There was a nice buzz about the place a good community cafe. The staff are friendly. We will certainly go again and recommend this cafe. To friends. The prices are good for such quality food”

“This is a lovely little cafe on Pepper Road Industrial Estate and you can takeaway. I had a mango and berry smoothie and a sweet chilli and cheese panini. Both were absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back! The staff are also very friendly and welcoming.”

“Love this cafe used to go to their cafe in Stockport and now drive 5 miles every Saturday food is great and the most reasonably priced around and we love the coffee. Staff are great”

“Robina and John are the most wonderful neighbours to have over the road from Hive Stores. They both work very hard to bring a lot more joy and creativity to the neighbourhood and are always willing to help where they can. The waiting room cafe has the best value full English around and the engine room is set to become a great creative hub. Whilst enjoying breakfast on our day off we conversed with familiar faces from the local neighbourhood who were enjoying crafts and socialising in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Robina and John for always helping, making us laugh and generally being authentic people. You've created a great space!”

“I know this place as the pepper mill and am a regular user. I always go for a salad box cause of my diet and I am never disappointed because they always have a good selection of meats,fish and cheese plus other vegetarian options. The menu as a whole is excellent and the specials are great value”
