“Our cat Ruby has just returned after her top class stay! The rooms are beautifully decorated and set out with cat's behaviour in mind. Helen is extremely knowledgeable and intuitive about cats and what they need. I was kept well updated about how Ruby was getting on, including, cuddles and playtime and how she was eating. She came home contented and happy. I particularly like that she couldn't see other cats, which would normally stress her out in a standard cattery. Wouldn't hesitate to book her in again. He has been on vet prescribed medication daily and Viv just takes over his daily doses with no fuss whatsoever. We wouldn't use any other cattery it has to be the best in Bolton. Gets booked up very very quickly which tells you everything you need to know”

It was a very last minute request but Amanda came to do a home visit the very next day and immediately reassured us. Sasha was taken good care of and it was good to know she was in safe hands. “I left my dog Bella and my kitten Nova here from Wednesday until Monday, and I was super anxious about leaving them, the lady I spoke with on both drop off and pick up said she was new there but has been absolutely amazing! The other staff i’ve spoken to on the phone have been honest and given me updates on the two occasions I called up, my dog absolutely adored her time there and she didn’t want to leave, and my kitten was anxious at first but as soon as she’d settled in due to the staff being lovely and caring with her, they’ve had their own little holiday whilst i’ve been on holiday! I can never thank you enough for looking after my babies and I am secure knowing you’ll have them again next month when I go away, and for any time in the future! Thank you so so much”

“So this was the first time us leaving our cat in a Cattery due to him being diabetic and he needed extra care. Lisa made us feel so at ease and seeing reviews she had cared for other diabetic cats was a relief. We were delayed by 27hrs on our return and nothing was too much to help or bother for the extra night needed. Highly recommend. Love me, Dan and Bentley :)”

“Newgate has been a second home to my dogs now for over 15 years. The team are truly exceptional and geniunely care for all the animals. On my last visit, Ludo cried with excitment when we arrived and ran in not to be seen until I collected him. He has his groom there too and Jenny does a fantastic job”

“Right from the start, organising walks for my dog was easy with Gemma. She came to my home to go over everything so that she knew all the quirks of my dog and what he needed. Both her and her team are very sweet and accommodating to my sometimes nervous pooch. The service is flexible and easy to book so that it all fits in with what you need. My dog loves his weekly sniffy walks with his new friends.”

“I phoned to ask if they had any kittens, they were kind enough to keep my number and let me know. The lady who helped us was patient, showed us how to care for them and even wsited behind after their opening times so I could go buy some carry cases. “Our cat Tilly, always stays here when we go away. Exceptionally friendly staff and the individual 'rooms' the cats stay in are very clean and have little doors which lead to a small outside space. Reasonably priced too. Wouldn't even consider putting Tilly anywhere else.”

“Debbie has looked after our dog Luna from when she was a puppy. Starting off with puppy house visits and moving onto day care at Debbies home. Luna has loved Debbie from day one, she now drags us down the street to Debbies door in the mornings. Debbie truly cares about the dogs she looks after and treats them as her own, giving them plenty of love, treats, exercise and play. During puppy visits Debbie provided us with updates on how Luna was putting our minds at ease whilst out at work and now we can follow her Instagram to see all the fun she has during the day. Luna loves Debbie and I would definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a dog walker/sitter.”
