Charming atmosphere in Oldham

“This pub is not part of your normally brewery chain. It's back to the old days were a couple run the bar with their lovely team. The pub is clean and warm and appears to have been recently modernised. It has a homely feel, friendly atmosphere, reasonable priced drinks and a wide variety of gins and tonics which we enjoyed trying.”

“Had a few roasts in the old venue which were stunning Been few times at the old cock and Sundays roasts fab too - I do miss the lamb shanks on the menu but enjoy the other meats we had Have to say the cheesecakes are the best I’ve eaten absolutely gorgeous Would also like to comment the young girl running the floor ( maybe the chefs daughter ) so lovely with a gentle caring and kind approach that always tries to make your experience as positive as possible Only negative be the venue seems so cold :)”

“This venue is absolutely incredible. I’ve now been to two weddings here and thoroughly enjoyed both. It’s a proper hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Saddleworth, you honestly wouldn’t expect it to be quite so impressive from the outside. Inside, the décor is tasteful, elegant, and beautifully thought out. There’s a stunning balcony that overlooks the main dining area, and the outdoor space is massive, perfect for weddings and, I imagine, other events too. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. I ordered some drinks I wasn’t supposed to, but he handled it really politely and respectfully. It's easy as a business owner to become jaded and not speak to people as individuals or talk down to them, but he's obviously a good dude and gives people the benefit of the doubt.”

“La Bella offer an awesome range of fresh pizzas. I like my take aways from store. I do it twice a week and always have consistency in food.”

“This place is a hidden gem! I ordered starter and main from the specials board. Both were delicious, freshly cooked and generous portion sizes. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the prices very reasonable. Bring your own booze was a bonus! Will definitely go back.”

“I've been to Oldham many, many times, and I've only just noticed they had a rollers. The Pecan cinnamon roll is soooo good. Seems like a nice place to eat in, and the service I received was very good.”

“Absolutely top place. Owners are amazing as are all the staff. They have amazing nights especially a Friday. Top door men pretty much a top time if you go. People are lovely, no trouble. Deffo recommend and the prices are amazing”

“Taste, variety and quality is great. Service is fast and polite. Prices are very affordable. They are also consistent - it has tasted the same every time I have had it. I wouldn't travel from far just to try it but if you are local, I highly recommend a visit. Just note that it is a small shop so there is no seating area.”

“Been twice recently, once for breakfast once for a carvery. Both time the food was fantastic, hot, fresh and tasty. The chef came over both times making sure everything was OK and had a chat when we had finished our meals, bar staff are lovely and welcoming too. “Out and about in Manchester with Albrecht. Have not been in this non real ale pub in many years but fancied a pint of Guinness. A very good choice. Albrecht had a pint of Estrella. £12.20 for the two pints. A one room pub taken back to the bare brick. A small rear outdoor area. Impressive spirit collection. Very friendly staff. The toucan murals take me back 60 years; we had metal trays with the Guinness toucans when I was a lad. ( sister still has them!) They do have live music. Pipped music was pretty damn good.”

“Had a lunch out with oir eldely parents this lunchtime, we travelled over from Huddersfield. The service and food was very nice and the my partner highly recommends the Lees bitter. Not been here for quite a fee years. The new management has greatly improved. Will defo go back. (Didnt take photos of food)”

“Good. Cheap beers. 2 Newcastle browns for £5. Absolute steal. Located brilliant. Right near the town centre.”

“Amazing night at the bonfire and fireworks. Well organised and the fireworks were excellent. Food served was tasty especially the Tata ash. One criticism and only a small one as this is a free event, maybe some portaloos next year to increase the capacity for the weak bladdered.”

Anyone who would like a top Indian food experience I recommend you come here. The main staff members who stood out to me were Mr Jamal Uddin and Mr Ridwan who both helped me out during my experience here.
