βGreat NT place, visited lots of times but this time, as well as using the very good cafe, we walked through the estate onto the path by the runway. Saw lots of planes taking off and landing. The grandchildren loved it!! Family membership well worth it!β
βWent to see STUART MICHAEL. Would definitely recommend! It was my first ever show of this kind. It was packed out! Would suggest getting there at least half hour before any show starts to get a carpark space behind the theatre.β
βAn internationally accessible haven of tranquility providing escape from the city. Dunham Massey is a brilliant green area south of Manchester, well conectes to Manchester airport. A range of flora and fauna make for a wonderful nature trail and forage, or a humble walk passively absorbing the natural landscape including forested areas and open pastures featuring abundant wildlife. On our visit most of the amenities were closed due to a met office weather warning, but this didnβt stop us exploring the vast grounds in peace. They often talk about calm before the storm, but rarely the calm during the storm- which is what we experienced due to the lack of fair weather crowds. I can imagine on more typical days tje cafes and visitors centre complete this experience with a warm drink or a hot soup after a brisk autumn stroll. I look forward to experiencing these on a future visit.β
βThank you, Renata, for inviting us to this Christmas princess party to sing and play with all the kids. Thank you for trusting us and supporting our team in developing a playgroup. It was a really good experience. The place is like a dream come true. When you enter, you will think you have entered a castle. We never thought we would have this opportunity to work with such a wonderful playroom. Their food is amazing, and they put in full effort to make all the guests feel welcome and comfortable. We highly recommend working with them and visiting this lovely place.β
βGreat set up and the escape room was great fun. We did Sawtopsy and really enjoyed it. The room had a lot of physical locks - combinations and key based.β
βGreat tour of the local Stockport Brewery, Bernice on reception was helpful and Gary took us around the brewery with his facts.β
βReally excellent service and quality of food. Served a big group of us and all really enjoyed. Would recommend to family and friends!β
βAlways a joy to visit the Contact hub, as a lover of architecture and design. Fun to sample Brew, the new cafe bar inside and break (cheesy) bread with artists and creatives.β
βI went their for camping for a night really recommended, the staffs were friendly and professional aswell the toilets and showers were clean and so the campsite were clean & tidyβ
βNice Facility, friendly staff. Went for a party, great space for 3+ with equipment being exciting and clean. Staff were friendly and the food was surprisingly generous. Will be visiting again.β
βWent to watch Cinderella over the Christmas period. The cast were brilliant and the script very well written. As others have mentioned, the ugly sisters were the stars of the show with lots of interaction with the audience. Overall, very good value for money on the initial purchasing of tickets and what the play delivered. I wasn't sure on the parking arrangements and it appears limited where you can park but there were some spaces behind and around the row of shops. We caught the bus to the local precinct and walked the 10 minutes so that is a viable option. The venue itself has food and drink on sale that is very reasonably priced and you can pay both with cash and card. It is a small venue that until recently I did not know even existed. It's intimate and seating, while seen better days, was adequate and even after the near 3 hours being there, was not feeling uncomfortable. Overall, an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon with familyβ
βWatched a brilliant representation of Agatha Christie's A Murder is Announced .....Miss Marple was really good, the actress portrayed the character so well loved itβ
βLovely place to hang out..such good vibes! Enjoyed the vegan pizza pocket n juice!β
βWe love Owenβs Little Music Makers. So much energy consumed it guarantees a relaxed lunch while the baby takes a good long nap! What more could you want?β
βGreat space to sit down and do a bit of reading/writing. Cheap as chips - hot chocolate for just Β£1.30!! Came with complementary chocolate (not found in the picture because I scranned it). Cream and marshmallows cost no extra - a welcome change from larger chain cafΓ©s Staff are lovely - seems to be run by Wonder Woman with a smile, and her band of merry lasses. Delightful pink and green interior (avant garde) Cleanliness without fault. Overall a surprise to find today, nestled near what could historically be considered a "rough" part of Blackley, but you wouldn't think it with the lovely hospitality. I expect this business to go far. Keep up the cracking work ladies.β
βKidzrus Monton is an incredible nursery. Itβs so reassuring as a parent to know both my girls are in such a nurturing and loving environment. They have both flourished at Kidzrus, developing their confidence and learning new skills which has been amazing to see. All the team are amazing and their dedication to the children is outstanding. I couldnβt have asked for a better nursery to watch my girls grow and thriveβ
βFantastic theatre experience! The performances are always high quality, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and a perfect place to enjoy live shows. Highly recommend visiting Quays Theatre!β
βBrilliant place with a great atmosphere. Very comfortable and welcoming with extremely friendly volunteers running it. Brings a real sense of community which is part of the aim. They run a fab cafe with some very different choices of food and also include vegetarian and vegan options too. Events and projects for the community run during the day and the evening. There's a bar for evening events which serves a great selection of drinks at incredibly reasonable prices. A very relaxed informal welcoming place. Open mic night is lots of fun with anyone and everyone encouraged to get up and play or sing. Very eclectic with something for everyone. Lots of local artisans and artists sell their wares here too and there are lots of plans in the pipeline yet to comeβ
βWe had a lovely time at the Lakeside Adventure Park in Heaton Park yesterday. The children enjoyed playing for an extended period, and Heaton Park itself is truly beautiful.β
βBest fade and shape up I've had by far, a free complimentary nose waxing has got me breathing clear again and customer service is great. Offered a drink upon arriving and generally check ins about what I wanted doing. Best barbers in Bolton.β
βHead Over Heels is hands down the best play area for kids in Manchester. The space is clean, safe, and full of activities that keep children entertained for hours. The food is halal, which makes it an easy choice for families like ours, and the hot chocolate is honestly exceptional β rich, comforting, and the perfect treat after a busy play session. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, but Maria deserves a special mention. Sheβs always available, incredibly professional, and her warm smile never fails to put us in a good mood. Her presence genuinely elevates the whole experience. Highly recommended for families looking for a reliable, joyful, and welcoming place for their children.β
βFriendly staff, good wide range of equipment. A great place to let off some steam for the young ones. Our little one is autistic and he loved just walking around freely. I felt he was safe to free roam the whole time we was there. SEN recommendedβ
βFirst time there with family. Great atmosphere. We really enjoyed it.β
βAs a MCFC fan Iβve been here many times. Always a great day out. Iβm trying to review this unbiased. Soβ¦ the stadium has loads of toilets with lines that move quickly. Lots of parking too. Good food options available inside and outside of the stadium. Lots of people are stood around the stadium and can help you. Awesome looking stadium especially at night. Great to see it from down the street and across the bridge. Building work is up at the moment down the tram station side whilst they extend. Fire work display at the champions league match a few weeks ago was great. You know youβll get a good match here too. Leave a good amount of time before the match to get in and parked as it can take a while to get through Manchester to the stadium from my direction. After the match it can be a quick exit and sometimes itβs a slow exit. They do a great stadium tour that I did about 8 years ago. Would recommend. Cool stadium.β
βExcellent illuminated displays throughout the gardens, with well layed path ways. Colour & spectacular imagery in all directions. Definitely well worth a visitβ
βWe are part of the Spanish church who worship every Sunday there, always is great to be in!β
βI'd just like to thank you all for making our day, and our first visit, such a pleasant and welcoming experience. Super kind and professional. I didn't get everyone's name but the names of the staff I did get and were super kind, warm and friendly were: Alexa Jake Arleanne Tyler A massive special mention to Aaron the chef as well. Really nice pizza, super friendly service with a smile and went the extra mile to make sure our son has a wonderful time. 11 out of 10 experience. 5***** time.β
βOur little one had the time of his life and loved every minute of it. Even as parents we were impressed with the facilities/ quality of play equipment, they sell a wide range of food and lovely seating area by the cafe that has plenty of high chairs. The tables are spaced out to allow for pushchairs/buggies. They have a role play section with plenty of soft play equipment etc. for under 5βs. Our little one loved the different sensory areas. The whole place kept him entertained for hours! We visited a second time on the way home. We only wish we had one closer to us down south as we are based in Sussex.β
βKids play area, picnic area with little beach view, dog friendly, lots of walk way, paid parking you can check online for price.β
βVery, very good venue. The quayside theatre is very small and intimate, but holds a good crowd. We were there to see the "Ideal" stage show (which was absolutely brilliant) and it was a great trip. Two minor issues were that it was unclear when the doors would open, leaving quite a few people like us standing outside in rain and wind, which was not Ideal (see what I did there) Also the toilet roll dispensers are utterly dreadful, where you have to try and pull it out of a very tight opening and it invariably tears close to the holder. You know the ones I'm talking about... The rosΓ© wine is delightful...β
