Chinese buffet in Manchester

“Appropriately named “home Chinese”, I felt like I was eating at a friend’s place, but in a good way.. Attention to detail was great, my waitress Amy, was an absolute dream, she gave the best recommendations and she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would eat here again, it’s so good to find a place that has good food, good service and good prices. I only managed to take a picture of one thing as I was too busy eating by the time the rest of my meal came through!. Thank you so much for a wonderful dining experience.”

“I ordered online i just got sweetcorn soup it was delicious and came piping hot i also got singapore vemercili again so tasty and authentic and finally salt and pepper ribs was nice and flavoursome and portions are huge! I will order again best chinese in a while”

“For the price, there are plenty of options, and the dessert station is a nice bonus. There’s a great variety to choose from, including classics like salt and pepper prawns, pork chops in Cantonese sauce, chicken curry, duck pancakes on Sundays, and even banana fritters with ice cream. It’s a small spot, much like many of the classic places in Chinatown, so if you pop in at a peak time like 5pm on a weekend, it can get quite busy, so I would definitely plan around that ☺️ You get an hour to dine, but I found that was plenty of time as the station isn’t huge to get around. The staff were really attentive, and if you’re looking for an affordable buffet or some comforting food, this is a brill spot.”

“Been enjoying roast meats all over Asia for the past 40 years. My first time at Park View ordering 3 meats and rice was spectacular, l portions were double than l would normally get from Manchester. “Honestly can’t wait to be back, as someone who is picky but also gets bored of eating 1 thing this is perfect. Food is brought by little robots too which is very cute and food is always out fast, The duck pancakes were my favourite! All you can Chinese but done different! You don’t get up and all queue around food you order through an app what you would like and it’s brought by robots with trays! Foods include rice, noodles, sweet and sour chicken, cha Sui is different sauces, sliced beef in many different sauces, beef or chicken curry, salt and pepper chicken and chips, spring rolls ect so many choices. 3 choices per person each time you order they are little pots so you can try lots of different foods. The menu is really big there’s so much stuff to choose from and even plenty of deserts to choose from. £20.99 adults £10.99 children if I remember right, It cost under £60 for 2 adults with 2 large drinks as well:) which I think is great to say the amount of foods we tried and also had pudding!”

“Absolutely delicious food. Everything we ordered was spot on. Friendly staff who make you feel very comfortable and are very helpful. They do have outdoor seating which will be good for wheelchair and pram user's and the have toilets as well. You must try this vegetarian place. I will definitely be returning.”

“I used to live in Manchester and somehow never tried this place before! We were visiting for work and decided to stop by Tampopo for lunch – and yes, it was the right choice. The food was banging, full of flavour, and fairly priced. The ramen was especially great, and the kids’ menu was a hit – massively approved by the little ones, which is always key! Great service too. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town.”

“This chippy has been here since I was a Kid back in the 80's, and the family who have owned the chippy since I can remember are still producing the same awesome English and Chinese food around. This is my go to chippy because it's always a trip down memory lane, the recipies have never changed and the food still tastes the same as back in the day. So you know 30 years or more running the place they have mastered their entire menu, I would recommend to all.”

“From placing the order with a lovely lady on the phone to collecting our delicious Chinese, this is one of the best Chinese meals we've ever had. The prices were amazing, the taste was incredible (we had 2 Dim Sum platters, a chow mein and a special fried rice, all for just £26.60) So excited to have a new fave takeaway!”

“Amazing restaurant! First time going to Mint Kitchen as my regular is slipping down hill. The food was ready waiting for me to collect, nice portion sizes, though mint kitchen rice portions are slightly smaller than what I'm used to but all that means is I can actually finish a meal with no left overs. The chicken was really juicy with "no bad bits" (The wife is picky with meat). I think Mint Kitchen is my new regular when it comes to a curry!”

“We went on Saturday 20th Sept despite the terrible weather. Table for four. The food was amazing as always, great choice starters and mains. I often skip lunch when going here to enjoy the duck and pancakes, as well as a main never disappoints. Fillet steak Cantonese is always a good choice. Great service and kindness . They have added an internal porch to reduce drafts for the winter . Very well tested last night in the weather. Enjoyed the evening thank you”

“If I could give more stars I would. This is a golden gem. Family run and absolutely full of flavour. Normally don't go out my way to give a review but it was that good I had to. Prawn dumpling were hand made and absolutely awesome. Chicken and sweetsoup was hot and a great addition to everything we ordered. Now I have found this place next time I will order direct.”

If they could add a few African dishes, like jollof rice, and improve the signage for the different menu areas, that would make it even better. “Ocean Tresaure Seafood Restaurant is an old and long history Chinese Restaurant in Greengate Industrial Estate, Middleton, Manchester. This restaurant has a very traditional Chinese upholstery with Chinese antique furniture and decoration. A spacious dining hall which it can occupy any banquet by over 40 tables. The Chinese dim sums are good worth having a long - time driving taken from the City centre to there. We took the bus 117 from the Oldham Street bus terminal but it had at least a 30-minute travel. When in return, it is advisable to better have the bus 112 which takes a shorter travel time. This Restaurant has a praise of mouth from gourmets by its friendly and nice staff, quality of dim sums, fried rice, fresh and live lobsters etcs and a comfortable dining hall sitting in.”
