Property was easily accessible and a great location with shops and takeaways close by and for getting straight onto the motorway. “Salford Quays Travelodge is the best in the whole country! Our favourite place to stay. Perfect for getting around Manchester by tram, and ideally situated for The Lowry theatre. And lovely Ordsall Hall. This Travelodge is always comfortable, warm and welcoming. The staff are smashing. Avoid the pizzeria next door to hotel. Good car park just seconds from reception. Shortage of power sockets in rooms, bring a power strip. Lovely staff. I will return.”

“Great food, portion sizes and price. Paper bags are appreciated, and fruit juice - so many places fizzy drinks are the only option but not here. Doner kebab is full of meat (never has bones in it) and the salad is always fresh. Fries are always seasoned nicely. Chicken wrap is also full of meat. This is the go to chicken shop on langworthy”

“YHA Manchester is an example of how a good hostel doesn't have to cost a lot. Large, bright and airy room for four people. The beds were solid, the only thing missing was curtains on the bunk beds for more privacy, but that's a minor detail. The bathroom was a good size, clean and looked new. The common areas are large and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location near a train and tram station is great for a city the size of Manchester. The hostel has a view of part of the river canal, and having breakfast with this view was a bonus. I would definitely stay at this hostel again”

Leon served me in the restaurant. He was kind , warm , understanding , knowledgeable , helpful , professional, but above all else his service was exemplary, second to none! I have never met such customer service in a very long time , of this level , and how refreshing to meet someone that loves what they do , and has a positive attitude in all their work. “So pleased I've discovered the atmosphere bar. Located within the university house this is the university's main SU bar but also well used by Peel Park visitors. The bar is located on the first floor of the building and is easily missed if you don't know it's there. Once inside there are three distinct and different parts of the bar. Firstly the main bar and largest space is like a sports bar with plenty of screens to watch live sporting events. Secondly, there is a games bar with pool tables and retro arcade games and darts. Thirdly there is a mezzanine floor which carries a whole different decor and vibe. Much more intermate and lounge like you can easily find your own space to work or have a private drink. I didn't sample the food but it appeared to be very good value for money. The beer selection was excellent and very well priced. £3.80 for a pint of Guinness and £3.70 for a pint of Madri. The Guinness was excellent too. When I'm next in Peel Park I'll certainly pay a visit to Atmosphere.”

“Great cafeteria that serves both breakfast & lunch with a large selection of foods to suit any tastes. It's is subsidised for local employees of the surrounding businesses so prices are reasonable. Large screen showing the news channel so you can catch up on what's going on around the world while eating. Or you can view the River Orwell on one side & watch the cruise boats passing by.”

“I had the best pizza and garlic bread I've ever had. The menu is bigger than most national chains and this makes pizzabaker all the better. There is no BBQ based pizza on the menu but all I had to do was ask and it was done, I had a chicken feast and it was amazing, so tasty. The garlic bread was great, so light and fresh, easily the freshest dough I've ever had. I will be back, very soon”
