“Having a large choice of Indian food in Cheadle village it could be difficult to choose which restaurant you would go to. Not anymore.....The food at Veeda was spectacular serving one of the best curries we've ever eaten. The food was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The service was impeccable and nothing was too much. We usually would go to another local Indian restaurant but we now have a new go too.”

“Located in the Hyatt Hotel and operated by them. You can choose from the bar and restaurant menu so a decent choice. Waiting staff were excellent, as was the food. With drinks, expect to pay at least 30 a head for a main and a drink. They add 12pct on top for service FYI. Did I say the food was delicious?”

“I moved to Didsbury with my friends and we decided to try the various options at the many restaurants. Here we found a warm welcome and a very pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant is clean, the service is smooth and fast, and the staff was truly excellent. As for the food, the fillet steak with green peppercorns was superb, the seafood risotto was excellent, and the breaded cheese. “Staying one night in Manchester, and saw this Caribbean place, so had to give it a try, I got the rice and peas with goat curry, and a lamb patty. The food tasted so good! I got the normal portion which was just right, the mutton just fell apart it was so tender, I would highly recommend this place for your Caribbean fix. The music in the place has be wanting to move, the only downfall was that I had a long walk back to my hotel, but the food was worth the walk”

“Can’t fault our visit. I normally order for delivery as it’s easier with our baby. Was a pleasant meal and the man on shift was great with our daughter, she was being quite loud and the lovely man came over with things to keep her entertained and it helped massively. Can’t thank him enough, it’s stressful going for a meal with a little one but this man made it that bit easier when he didn’t have to. Thank you! Rasta pasta is unreal”

“Helen street chippy is a fantastic chip shop in peel green. Located on the corner on Helen street. Parking is street parking only but I've never had an issue finding a place. The staff are nice. There's a cold drinks fridge at an average price. The chips are lovely. Two types of curry sauce. Always hot and tasty food. Would recommend and I'm a regular customer here”

“I went there via online booking. It was very convenient that I can change time just a few hours before. I ordered lasagna and my friend ordered calbonara. Lasagna is served only weekends and flavor is seasonal. My lasagna was filled with panchetta, butter squash and mushrooms. The taste was good. The waiter wrongly served our dishes to the next table (unfortunately they ordered totally same dishes), so we had to wait for 40 minutes to be served. I am sorry for the waiter, but I was so tired because of 23 hours flight from Tokyo. However, they sincerely apologize for it and gave us free desert. Thanks to their kind offer, we could enjoy our dinner. My Italian friend said it was delicious. So it's authentic pasta.”

“Visited Cocos last night with my husband. All I can say is fantastic from start to finish. Atmosphere was lovely, staff were amazing who couldn’t do more for us. The chef greeted us which was a lovely personal experience. And the food delicious. Will definitely be going back again. You’ll need to book though.”
