“I am so pleased I chose this unique nursery for my daughter. She loves her days here, even when she is a bit apprehensive to leave me the ladies are so lovely and quick to update the baby's days app with pictures of all the interesting things she is getting up to, which puts my mind at ease. The nursery has such a lovely feel to it, different to other nurseries in the area. The updates you receive on the app throughout the day are reassuring which are then backed up by the big smile on my daughters face when I pick her up and the stories she has to tell me about her day. The singing, painting and puddings after lunch are some of her favourite things. I would definitely recommend the Yellow Door nursery, Michele and her Team!”

“Came here after a dog walk at teatime for some food with the dog. Had Thai food and it was absolutely lovely. Sat by the bar with the food as we had the dog and absolutely loved it. Good music in the background lovely atmosphere & Quality Thai authentic food and really nice friendly pub. Would 100% come back”

“Was recommended to this little gem by my son the food was absolutely amazing I had the king prawns on sourdough the sauce was just amazing it was followed by spicy lamb koftas on a flatbread and again it was beautiful it was totally filling meal. I would recommend this venue to everyone. The chef must be a magician as we didn’t wait very long for our starters and main meal. The young lady who was serving us and bringing our food was very busy but was polite knowledgeable about some of our parties allergies and always had a smile on her face nothing was a trouble. The staff at the bar were very polite and smiling all the time. We had a wonderful evening and made our stay there absolutely great. The staff at the venue are a credit to the owner and management.”

Between any janusry - decemver 2023 to 2025 January to Jun etc can't remember what date exactly Sometimes I ised to get waffle Hot coco with marshmallow etc Depends in days I was in Staff are helpful including helping those with reading word They have nice display off cakes , biscuits and sandwiches They can be cold or cooked judt ask staff Price are different from each cup you have One I used to have like a massive bowl with to handle side by side. I not been recently Please check there website for opening times Facebook or others social media platforms they might be on. They sometimes bring new cakes you not seen. Muisc not to loud Has a nice space for extra customers to sit down Not just bottoms floor They aldi have disability access to That good. “Never been here before but there was a band playing that we wanted to see. Great that some pubs are still willing to have live music. Really busy but the staff were excellent so no problem getting served. Although there was a choice of bitters it's a shame that there was no cask ale. A good looking pub and a friendly atmosphere and the band were brilliant so a really enjoyable Saturday night.”

“Hosted a games night for our running club in the free function room upstairs. Such a beautiful room with original features. We only had chip butties but they were really good, we even got some salad & cakes thrown in and the napkins were super cute! Lisa was super helpful when trying to organise. Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again! Thanks for a great night!”

“I ordered the Lincoln Table with 4 leather chairs, chairs arrived straight away with no issues but unfortunately when the table arrived a week later it was damaged - the box had also been damaged in transit. I contacted the company straight away who apologised and arranged for another table to sent, unfortunately the table was damaged again when I received it although not as badly. Sally arranged for a third table to be sent by private courier and took the second table away. I can honestly say the level of customer service has been excellent, I was contacted and updated throughout the whole process and cannot fault the service or products I have received. I would definitely buy from them in the future and would hope to actually go to the shop when possible.”

“Really enjoyed my stay here, the staff were outstanding and hospitable, the bar next to the lobby had a welcoming, cozy feel, wonderful menu and lovely rooms. I'm not sure about some of the complaints on the size, it seemed average to me, but it was very clean which is high on my importance list, as was the rest of the hotel. This hotel is away from the city bustle a bit, but a lot of trees around the property make it very relaxing and a pleasure to escape the traffic. My only feedback is the vegan sausage in the morning was freezer burned and a little bland, they can be tossed in oil & seasoning to add flavor, but fresh/defrosted is best. My veg pizza was wonderful, so was the veg burger. Great buffet in morning. Outstanding staff professionalism in housekeeping and lobby.”

“This place was my haven as i travelled unexpectadly.The owners were very accomodating&friendly and it felt like a home from home.Food was homecooked beautifully.Room was both reasonable and cleaned to a high standard.i thought it may have been noisy with it located close to a main road but no,it was very comfortable and peaceful.”

“I can't fault this nursery my 7month old has been going here now for a while. The staff are all very professional with excellent standards for my child. He was nervous to start with and didn't want me to leave him but the staff made him feel welcome and now he has the brightest smile ever when I take him into the baby's room. Where he plays with his new friends. The activities are amazing and I can already see massive delevepolments in his progress. Thank you so much banana moon.”
