“First time here and certainly won’t be the last, minced chicken with lettuce wraps and salt & pepper prawn were the most savoury light delectable starters with duck, rice and the star of the show, steamed whole sea bass for main. My oh my best sea bass I have ever eaten, moist, fell off the bone, intensely savoury liquor, no extra thickeners. Just wow. And Sunny. Sunny sunny sunny. You were the highlight of the evening. Please visit this place you won’t regret it, we will definately be back, same again please ❤️”

“Number 1 Indian restaurant in the Bolton area. Some serious connoisseurs of Asian cuisine amongst our group. Veterans of the southern Indian lamb delicacy converted to the North Indian variety served here. Sizzling platters incredible, combined with incredible curry and sides in the original el tel combo meal, this place is one not to be missed. Will be back again next week, top tier place- give it a try!”

“Second time having Afternoon Tea here and still great. The staff are amazing. They are welcoming, friendly and attentive. The Afternoon Tea for 2 is tasty and fresh. We also ordered scrambled eggs on toast for our 8month old. He enjoyed it, as did I. It's the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Came out hot, too, which was even better. “Lovely, laid back and unpretentious pub with plenty of stripped wood and some wonderfully tasty ales. Great to see the patronage of local micro breweries and the noticeboard full of Polaroids celebrating all their doggy patrons tells you all you need to know about the overall vibe here.”

“We had a lovely two day stay here..rooms were warm and clean with a great view from our window. Good home cooked breakfast. The owner was helpful and friendly Good location for walking, Sett valley trail and peak district area. Would recommend it if you are coming to this area.”

“I stayed at The Lamb Inn for one night with a friend while visiting the Peak District. We arrived late, but the staff were very accommodating and provided us with the keys right away. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was absolutely amazing—definitely a highlight of our stay. The only minor issue was that the shower leaked at the bottom, so the water didn’t drain properly. Other than that, everything was great. The inn is conveniently located for exploring the Peak District, though you will need a car to get around. We even spotted some Highland cows nearby, which was a lovely surprise. Overall, a comfortable and enjoyable stay—I’d happily recommend it for a visit to the area.”

“This is a really good pub with a great range of beers, very good food and excellent service by attentive, friendly staff. After we’d had a kitchen nightmare at home, we phoned the pub on the off-chance and they fitted our group of 5 (and 2 dogs) straight in for a super Sunday lunch. We were looked after superbly and can’t speak highly enough of the team and quality of our roasts!”

“A very positive experience from start to finish. I booked my taxi in person at the office in Leigh, i was dealt with in a polite and friendly manner. I was taken to Manchester Airport to go on holiday and collected upon my return. Both times the drivers turned up in smart, clean and modern vehicles. The drivers were very polite, dressed smartly and drove safely & sensibly. As the saying goes "big enough to cope, small enough to care"”

“First time here and it didnt disappoint! Great service and great food! Steak was cooked to perfection, corn ribs were yummy and the half rack of ribs were super tasty! Had a chocolate milkshake for dessert too! Overall good value for money! Car park gets a bit hectic at busy times but still seemed to be spaces available.”
