The day was really engaging and interesting - the recipes were great, the pace was just right and we were given so much useful information as well as little tips and tricks. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, the facilities were lovely and the course was expertly delivered. I would definitely recommend and I'm already looking at what courses I can do next!”

“Since my review below, management have reached out to me and have confirmed their cutlery and crockery is recyclable hence I will add another star to my review. Many thanks for response. Very interesting place for breakfast or lunch in Cheadle. This cafe is definitely a positive addition to the Cheadle community - making it feel more like some of the cafes in Didsbury. It is very clean and had a nice friendly atmosphere. The manegment adhere to the Jewish community, hence this cafe is closed on a Saturday. You will find lots of nice things on the menu and everything is well presented and clean as stated above. The reason I can't give this more than the 4 stars, is based on the disposable plates, knifes and forks and coffee / tea cups. I imagine on a good day this Cafe must go through a lot of disposable waste. Not sure if any of this is recyclable (but I have no proof) so effectively this cafe could contribute to world pollution (perhaps comments from management will put me right on this issue). It would be good to have notices saying the cutlery , crockery is all recyclable as this would get another star from me. And lastly but not leastly there is only one Vegan option on the menu. As we all know Veganism is on the rise and it is always good to have more Vegan options on the menu. On the other hand for the Jewish community it isn't an essential - but for the public it might be. In conclusion I would recommend this place as it gives a fresh look to the Cheadle community and it is clean. Worth a visit if you are in Cheadle.”

“Newgate has been a second home to my dogs now for over 15 years. The team are truly exceptional and geniunely care for all the animals. On my last visit, Ludo cried with excitment when we arrived and ran in not to be seen until I collected him. He has his groom there too and Jenny does a fantastic job”

“Barry, with his very strong base of knowledge, talked widely and enthusiastically about Arts & Crafts in the North West. There are so many beautiful artefacts right on our doorstep waiting to be discovered, and the network of artists and craftsmen was fascinating. Perhaps the 'best bit' has to be the admission and recognition of talented women from the start, unlike the Art Workers' Guild in London, with which I am familiar.”

“Visited today to try steak and eggs. The best steak I’ve had in a very long time. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Melt in your mouth steak and the chimchuri was spot on. Husband enjoyed the orange juice, recommended from Jordan, and said the halal breakfast hit the spot without feeling too heavy. Apart from the excellent food, Jordan delivered exceptional customer service. He talked with a smile and looked after us from beginning to end. It was refreshing to see such great service.”

“Hey fabulous how it is for kids and the adult, s get the same treatment as you would a toddler.. I don't want to go on about it but I don't know how to put it nice... 256 is great but u can not get in unless you are a student... I love that place and I have been in the place for the best part of my life but I'm not allowed to have a good time in there as I am not a student.. I think students are going to regret the loss of the intelligence offered by the local people who are connected to the area and have a good account of the situation we are all living in the UK... I miss mingling and we are just going out for a few beers and a good time down the local pub... I will check out who to complain to then apply for a new world order for the sake of the party to be some what special for both young and old ish...”

“I’m not a great fan of Cheshire East Council, some of their services are really poor. However Oakenclough Family Hub is excellent. It is a really outstanding facility for children. The stay & play, sensory room, toy library and cafe are absolutely outstanding. The building is modern and well thought out and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Why haven’t all councils got facilities like Oakenclough ? Well done Cheshire East.”

“We are so happy we sent our little boy to POD! The staff are the best! Everything they do feels personal to you and they really get to know each child individually. We are always kept in the loop about everything they do and plan to do with the tapestry app. The flexibility is a god send for us, with dad being a teacher we don’t need to pay for childcare during school holidays! “My son attends this school and Insh'Allah so will my daughter. I think the staff and facilities are very good. This is still a very young school and I feel that it is continually getting better. My son used to attend a long established grammar school and I feel they are very comparable, however, here my son learns about Islamic values.”

“The food is always stunning. Order from here regularly. They are like 9 miles away from me and the latest they've ever been was like 10 mins after, I phoned the shop and he turned up like there and then haha. The delivery guy has been awesome both times, amazing food, and food is still warm and delicious especially within it being so far away. Couldn't recommend higher. ALSO I swear this place is like one of the only mexican deliveries in manchester. We are going to get to know each other very well.”
