“We had a fantastic time at The Bake House! After finding out our originally planned venue for afternoon tea was closed we called the Bake House and they accommodated us at the last minute! We were too late to order afternoon tea but they did their best to give us the experience by plating up our sandwiches into a platter and putting our chosen cakes on a cake stand. Delicious baked good, teas coffees and scrumptious milkshakes for the kids. 100% recommend!”

“Visited today, with my friend and my toddler. They didn’t have many options for kids but that’s fine as my son was more interested in a sausage roll from the bakery. The food me and my friend had though was absolutely delicious, really well made. The coffee was really good quality too, a really well made cup of coffee not burnt or too hot.”

“If you're thinking about getting new furniture I would definitely check out this place first. Very reasonable prices that always reflect the condition of the furniture- of which the condition is usually great. There's also a delivery service which is immensely helpful. I'm not sure if there's a charge for it although I would imagine it's nominal. The cafe upstairs is lovely too. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of drinks and food. The choices range from snacks and cakes through to meals so there's something to satisfy whatever mood you're in. All raising money for such a great place in the hospice too.”

“I have been coming to this coffee shop for a weekly coffee date with my little girl for years. The staff are really lovely, very helpful and friendly and good the extra mile to give a good experience. The drinks and food are good, and good value. Better than Starbucks/Costa/Nero and cheaper. “Crispy chicken breast with soup udon. Iced bubble milk tea. Help yourself with different seasoning. Salt and pepper, seaweed and cheese powder and quite a few others. Would be even better if the breadcrumbs or flour not too thick. Worth trying. Milk tea and a few other drinks come at half price with food order at lunchtime. Very close to metro station or you can park and shop at Tesco Extra with three-hour free parking. Less than five minutes walk from Tesco.”

“I came across this coffee and was very surprised by the quality and the taste of the food. The owners are very nice and very welcoming, she made me the best cappuccino ever. They do a mix between Albanian and English food which was delicious. Very clean place, I recommend !”

“Good for coeliacs. We have been here twice now to get my son some dinner and they was able to provide us a kids dinner, butty, crisp, and home made cake/brownie with a drink. Good when we only live round the corner and can find something convenient for him. They really have thought about alot off people this cafe, people that are not able to talk or write are able to place pictures onto the menu to show what they want. Good community cafe.”

When items ready to collect another text will be received saying items ready for collection with your order number. The app is excellent for browsing for items and prices are very competitive. The service provided by the staff is excellent.”

“I was recommended to take my GT here and wasn’t disappointed. Ali who greeted me was incredibly helpful and professional and kept me up to date with timescales on expected completion. They carried out the service and additional work along with suggestions/recommendations. I’ll definitely be going there again for the next service or any other work needed. The whole team is great and the unit is nice and clean too. I don’t live locally but was certainly worth the travel.”
