“Nearly didn't book here due to some bad reviews. Glad I did because the place is fine. It does look a bit tatty on the outside but it is OK inside. Although it is on a main road into Manchester we were surprised at how little traffic there was overnight. Our room was overlooking the road and we had no problem with traffic noise. It had acoustic double glazing that was very effective. There is no air con but a fan is provided which helps. We were there on one of the hottest days/nights and found it tolerable. The meal deal was good. You eat in the pub which is attached to the hotel. Unfortunately it doesn't have any real ale but the Draught Guinness was good. There was a selection of lager and cider. So don't be put off, if it is convenient for you go for it.”

“Lively but not noisy, people and pets gather to share food, nearby stalls sell snacks and hot food, and even flowers and fruits coexist with fine wine. I love the atmosphere and space, but unfortunately I just passed by this time.”

“Had a ladies dry cut here by the young Chinese man, I was so pleased with how he cut and styled my hair that I will be back again, won't be paying the extortionate prices that the hairdressers charge again, would definitely recommend this barbers to everyone, very friendly as well, thank you.”

“My dog is 4 this year and I've been coming here to get her groomed since she was a pup, always a brilliant job done and I have peace of mind I'm leaving her in safe hands. I use the groom room about 4 times a year for a full groom they do a lovely shorter cut that helps me manage a hairy home as she is a bearded collie. Edit* after this review we have found the service isn't as good as it was noticed a change in staff”

“My whole family have been with this practice for over 10 years. I am very happy with the service they provided. The doctors are very professional and patient with my 2 special needs kids. The nurses are friendly and willing to listen and help. The booking system did change after pandemic, but if you phone on time you will normally get an appointment. There will be a waiting time for the phone call to be answered but you will be told your waiting position. Thanks for everyone who works extremely hard. All of your help and effort are much appreciated.”

“Lovely place. 10/10. Excellent communication, easy to book. Access is via a keysafe, very simple. The room we had (No.1) was beautifully decorated with a lovely ensuite. There was a Nespresso machine, kettle, complimentary teas, coffees & even a lovely bottle of red wine waiting for us. The proprietor Tony communicated via whatsapp which made things easy. The bed was very comfy and we had a lovely stay. 2mins walk takes you to a fabulous Italian cafe (Nostro Cafe) & you need travel no further. A lovely little hotel I am sure we will use again.”

“I recently completed Umrah with my mother under the guidance of Heritage Umrah/Mayar Travel and I would like to commend the team for their professionalism and exceptional level of care throughout the journey. “Bought a range of Airofin items (jersey/winter jersey/bib leggins/bib shorts) for cycling as I was in need of some new gear. Really pleased with all of it. Good prices but still a step up from the standard dhb gear. The jacket is the perfect length but not at all baggy and the bib shorts are much more comfortable than my last pair as the padding covers a bigger area. Overall really pleased with this gear. Would recommend. Some really good discounts on the website right now also.”

“My daughter joined Starlight over a year ago. She really loves the lyrical dance session and what I appreciate is the lack of exams and snobbery at the school. It makes her soul sing to be a part of such an inclusive, dynamic, nurturing and encouraging dance school. Thank you for all the opportunities you’ve provided for her too, to be on stage at The Waterside and Sadlers’ Wells even though she’s only been dancing a year. I did try to bring her to dance classes several times but it’s not until she’s towards the end of primary that she’s been brave enough to throw herself into it and it’s wonderful to see!”
