“Popped in for a drink before my local club Rushall played Away to Curzon Ashton. Really chilled and relaxed vibe, as well as a fantastic array of music and cool knick knacks adorning the whole shop / bar. Although there is nothing on draught, the owner will happily decant any drink of choice into a cool cold glass. Went for a couple of the German Pilseners including the Jever which went down a treat. Only disappointment was that I didn't have more time to try a few more flavours. Will hopefully make a return in future seasons but well recommended and can imagine it is rightly busy in evenings.”

On the lighter side: someone needs to tell him the loose end of the toilet roll goes over and away from the wall and not under. That's so wrong! He arrived on time, worked efficiently, and the price was very reasonable considering the fantastic results. “Best tattoo shop this side of Manchester. The attention to detail in each tattoo is awesome. They are so professional in the way they treat you, offering refreshments the minute you walk in. Lovely atmosphere, great people, lovely parlor; they also remove tattoos. But all in all, a fantastic place to get a tattoo. Four or five people are available by appointment only; I don't think they do walk-ins.”

“Called MDR earlier today as the lever to open my bonnet wasn’t working. I needed it sorting as travelling a distance next day and wanted to check oil and water. Was asked to take car down a couple of hours later for them to have a look at it. I did this and they sorted it within couple of minutes, also checked my oil and water levels and didn’t charge me anything. Great service and refreshing to see we still have good people out there. Thankyou so much.”

“Had some issues in getting my car booked in at the carshop (now motor range) even thought it's under warranty, contacted this garage and saw me same day eventhough they were busy, test drove my car and also did a diagnostic. They explained everything thoroughly and didn't try to blindside me with scary information so that I'd pay an arm and a leg. First time coming to this garage and definitely won't be the last!”

“I went here today for an appointment with Hope after getting in touch through Facebook, she answered me within half an hour and I got booked in 2 days later .Having explained what the problem was Hope clearly explained what treatment I could have and put me at ease .I haven't been to a hairdressers for over 4 years due to a bad experience. My hair was dull ,thick very brittle and had no style at all however after just over an hour and half I have left feeling like a new woman, my hair is level , styled and feels great .My family said I looked amazing which has given me a boost in confidence. “Snips Barber Shop is great. You can be sure of a warm welcome from the owner, Arfan. He loves to chat with his customers and you'll have plenty to discuss if you like football or cricket! Online booking was introduced a couple of years ago which means no waiting. Walk-ins are still allowed, but appointments get served first. After much nagging from me, Arfan introduced online payments a few months ago, so no cash needed, although still accepted if that's your preferred method of payment.”
