“Water suddenly started pouring out from below the upstairs wc cistern, and within minutes the kitchen was flooded. I couldn’t shut off the water because the stop tap had seized. Dave arrived within ten minutes, identified the problem as a split flexible hose, managed to shut off the water and returned first thing next morning to fit a new hose and new stop tap. A 100% fantastic service.”

“Wow what a lovely place! We came here as a group of 18, the staff were very friendly and very accommodating. They gave us the choice of ordering from the a-la-carte menu or using the party menu - we decided to use the party menu as you got poppadoms, starter, main and side for £16 per person, which made things so much easier when it came to the bill. Everyone in our party commented and how good the food was. Excellent quality and very nice flavours. We liked the fact that the kitchen is on show and you can see the chefs preparing your meal. A great evening had by all, we will definitely be back!”

“If you're thinking about getting new furniture I would definitely check out this place first. Very reasonable prices that always reflect the condition of the furniture- of which the condition is usually great. There's also a delivery service which is immensely helpful. I'm not sure if there's a charge for it although I would imagine it's nominal. The cafe upstairs is lovely too. Very reasonably priced and a great selection of drinks and food. The choices range from snacks and cakes through to meals so there's something to satisfy whatever mood you're in. All raising money for such a great place in the hospice too.”

“Great pub. We visited on Friday. It was Friendly! Clean. Lovely local barmaid. She even rang the last orders bell for me :) We went next door for fish and chips and got to eat in inside too.”

“We enjoyed another great meal at La Lupa on 9th Feb. I was a little concerned from the recent poor reviews, and while the service is slow the food was as good as ever. The bruschetta, pizzas and meatball spaghetti were amazing! Oh and the tiramisu was great! Although the service is slow I actually quite enjoyed not being rushed to order and so it made for a very relaxed evening.”
