Chicken was a little dry and would prefer salad and sauce to be put on kebab rather than have to do it ourselves but small things. Used Naga a lot and tonight hasn’t put me off.”

“I have been going to this Cafe since my college days 6 years ago when it used to be a caravan and now it is a shop and the food still tastes amazing and consistent from the very first time trying it out. Bangla Burger is the best with rich flavour and spices and is very filling. I would highly recommend this if you are in the Hyde area/town.”

Laura was so easy to contact and made us feel so calm and confident in our choices leading up to our wedding, and they did not disappoint! “The best Curry I have ever had! Amazing value for money and the owner (pictured) is super accommodating, as he often allows me to switch an item for something else! As a regular customer, I get greeted with a drink on the house and a big smile too! The food is top quality, and so is the service. Freshly cooked with a 5-star food hygiene rating. “I’ll start my review by saying that I’ve eaten at all the so called ‘best Indian Restaurants’ locally and to be fair there are a few good ones but often victims of their own success. However, in my opinion, Spice Bistro is up there amongst the best and from the meals I’ve eaten, it is by far the best Indian Restaurant around the Tameside and Glossop area. The meat they serve is so very tender, full of flavour and simply melts in your mouth and this is complimented by the curry sauces which have so much flavour they make you drool. The portion sizes are exceptional because they are thick and not full of oil or watery sauce and if you order a takeaway the foil container is full to the top. I can’t compliment the quality of the food enough…….it is that good. As a side note, the staff are incredibly polite, helpful and chatty but most important they are humble and respectful and this creates a happy vibe around the restaurant. If you have not eaten here before, believe me it will become your no. 1 go to restaurant for a curry. The cost of a curry from here is similar to a kebab from a takeaway and my only regret is that I haven’t eaten from here more often. The restaurant is not the biggest in the world but that’s a bonus as it allows the staff to look after their customers and give them an enjoyable experience. I cannot praise this restaurant highly enough!”

“What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and helpful. We visited last Saturday for breakfast. It was super cold, but we cosied up in a little hut with a wood burner, cushions and blankets and a stunning view (dress warmly). The drinks were divine and food delicious. Great value too, £50 for four of us. Perfect!”
