“What a gem of a place. This is one of the most authentic and pleasent Italian places I had the pleasure to eat at in a very long time. Let's say that if I lived in theare me and my girlfriend would most definitely weight a few more stones/Kgs. As well as the food it is cosy, attentive stuff, quick enough service (to not make you think they want you out of the door) definitely a must try.... Book of you can as space is limited.”

“Huge back garden. Wasn't aware the owner has their own dogs off lead on the premises (two friendly Beagles), so didn't stay too long as my own dog gets nervous around unfamiliar dogs.”

“Just had my first visit to Chat Massalla, and I'll be giving it another visit. Called in the place across the road the week before and as always just unpleasant and not at all helpful, what a contrast the Chat Massalla was! The grey beard chap was very polite without that over ingratiating manner you can get. I had the Garlic Chicken Hayderbady, well presented, tasty, and nicely cooked. If I was to be over critical I would have liked it to have a bit more chilli heat. The boiled rice was boiled rice, and the Chapatis were very substantial. I normally order 4, but I only ordered 2, and they were enough. Well a try and the price seemed to be the going rate.”

“This place has been going for years and I still remember when it was located on the opposite side of Acres Lane where the car sales garage is located now. The food has always been delicious from chips with the Chinese flavoured gravy to the excellent Chinese meals. Sun Lok has always set the benchmark for a chippy in Stalybridge and if they joined a delivery provider likeJusteat, I as well as many others would order from here more often.”

“Ordered a couple of times. Burgers, pizza, sides. On those occasions I have found the food to be top quality, fresh, tasty and delicious. I have seen a couple of negative reviews but I’ve had no issues whatsoever. Delivery lad was polite and fairly chipper. Worth a try”

“We ordered the AK burger and the clucking hell burger. Both absolutely delicious, generous portions and really well presented.We had the waffle with mint aero too which was amazing. I preordered and it was ready bang on time, staff are really friendly and the shop itself is really clean and modern, they should really think about opening a restaurant! The only downfall is that as it’s so close to my house I’m probably going to put all the lockdown weight back on that I’ve just tried to shift. “Only had the chips and curry sauce so far from here but there really nice! Decent portion without being to big and the curry sauce is very tasty too! Definitely going to try the Chinese food next time!!”

“Second time I’ve tried this chippy and both times have been great! Not sure where the bad reviews come from? Salt and pepper chips were nice and spicy and the mini veg spring rolls were perfect! Tried the curry sauce and battered sausage as well and they were great also! Will definitely be ordering from here again, our new favourite chinese!”
