The food and service were excellent; the paneer cocktail was something I had never had before, the naans were incredibly fluffy, and the cobra was delicious. The total cost came to about £28 per person. I'm happy to confirm that Marple Spice remains fantastic. The staff was so kind and we will definitely be returning.”

“Working with Chris, Suzy and the team at Byles of Marple was an absolute pleasure, from the first time we walked in to the showroom to the day Richard walked out of our house at the completion of the job. Byles arranged and managed all elements of the project, from working with us during the design (nothing was too much trouble), to providing excellent trades people for all the various aspects of the project. The quality is excellent, you get what you pay for! And the workmanship was of a very high standard. The work meant several rooms and areas of the house being "out of bounds" at the same time, but the team always worked with us to ensure that this never felt a major issue. A pleasant plus was that the end of each day everywhere was swept and all tools and materials tidied away - we never really felt that we were living on a building site. The new Kitchen, Utility and Downstairs WC, has massively transformed our house, and we would most definitely recommend using Byles.”

Had Spaghetti Bolognese, chicken burger for my partner and the 4 season garlic bread which actually tastes like garlic. Not like the cardboard shite round here. Thank you guys. “Went here for my sister’s 30th for Sunday lunch with my family. The food was incredible and the gravy was so shiny and delicious and there was loads of it! A true northern restaurant. My grandpa also has dementia and we requested that the food was served quickly. They were very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back and try the small plates.”

“What an absolute gem of a place, huge place filled with all sorts of wonderful bits and pieces. Two floors of excellent quality good sturdy furniture. If you find a piece but its not quite the right colour have a chat with them and they see what they can do to lighten/darken it to suit you. “11 of us visited on the 20/06/25 for a birthday meal. I hadn't eaten from the Spice Tower for over 6 years when it was under previous management following a poor takeaway. WOW it has changed. I had a takeaway a few weeks ago to test it out before booking for my stepsons birthday meal out and loved it. The family attended for said birthday last night and everybody agreed that the food was delicious and the service great. I personally had the tamarind prawns to start and the chum chum mix for main and couldn't fault it. Great value for money to. I think I've found a new favourite.”

“Just a quick note for anyone planning to visit: It isn’t open every Sunday, only on "the last Sunday of each month". Unfortunately, we missed it this time, but the view from outside the gate is still wonderful. I’ll definitely visit again!”

“Everybody loves a good Chinese take away. With a few Chinese restaurants offered in the area, I can say that this is by far the BEST within a 3 mile radius! Wether you are travelling to pick up, or even waiting over an hour for delivery, it is definitely worth the wait. We ordered sweet and sour pork, chicken fried rice, Prawn toast, sticky beef, ribs and veg spring rolls... all were absolutely bloody delicious. I don't usually like Prawn toast, but woah, those were so *input curse word here for emphasis* good! The crunch, the taste & the sweet and sour sauce to complement were *chef kiss*. My favourite though was the sweet and sour pork. Gosh. I can't even explain it. Over the years I've had sweet and sour pork from so many places, but that.... that was absolute heaven in a box. The pricing for the dishes weren't extortionate at all. It's what you'll expect to pay for a takeaway... we had left overs and still tasted delicious heated up. We will definitely be returning. 100/10 will recommend as this place was recommended to us.”
