Eclectic atmosphere in Manchester

“My first time at Everyman and I was blown away by the fantastic customer service. As soon as we arrived we were wonderful greeted and shown a table before we waited for the screen to be open. A lovely guy with a beard and glasses came and sat to take our order - I couldn’t get over how incredibly friendly and polite he was. The service was worth every penny and the food was delicious.”

“We overall love this bar and have been coming on and off for years. We first visited many years ago before they installed air con, and our complaint then was how warm it got when busy, the adding of the air con is brilliant. In recent days, we've become regulars. Where to start with the praise? Great vibe, musicals on the screens and lovely clean toilets. Lee, the doorman, is brilliant. A model bouncer and doorman. Last year, we unfortunately had an experience with a straight man who became aggressive to us and we told the bar staff who got Lee, whom proceeded to kick him out with 0 hassle to us and made us feel safe. This is our only bad experience in 5+ years of coming here as the place is great. The cocktails are inventive, delicious and bright to look at. Their new movie night Mondays is a great initiative and their changing boards of cocktails often based on musicals that have come to the city, are brilliant. The bar staff are so smiley, pleasant and love a laugh. One remembers my order every time which is special to us to be remembered. Our only complaint now, is that they're so busy some nights we never have anywhere to sit. But we're so happy they're full and business is booming!”

“I went with some friends to celebrate my brother's birthday. I have a lot of allergies, so I'm hard to find food for, but Peter gave me (and my brother) excellent service - he made me feel like, even though it was pretty hectic there, I was the only person he was serving in the room. Perfect! Also, Maggie (Mags?) did provide good service in giving us the food, checking we were all happy. Additionally, the food was pretty good. Finally, the restaurant was very busy , which is a sure sign of popularity!”

“Me and my mum went to zizzi on a Sunday afternoon ( expecting it to be busy but pleasantly surprised and was quiet plus school holidays) I had a free birthday meal to use and have been meaning to go to zizzi for a while so perfect opportunity Prior to going already knew what I was getting the vegan aubergine meatball pizza and 6 layer lasagna ( both cooked to perfection and went very well together!) The pizza had a spicy kick , super thin base and delicious toppings while the lasagna had a unique layers with a rich tomato sauce , pesto and crispy kale ( if seen in supermarkets and been tempted to buy from the freezer but glad I had in store ) The service was professional, welcoming and super good with allergens , overall a great time and highly recommend For families , dates , solo the perfect meal that’s reasonably priced , have a range of offers and deals plus if you get the app get perkz like this so the bill was 1/2 price and came to 2 for 1 on mains plus had a cider”

“Amazing service, massive stock, free delivery, no hassle return policy and most of all the prices are unbeatable. The staff/owners always helpful and plenty of staff to help loading and unloading. Iv done small projects and large extensions with the support have made the job easier and manageable”

“Visited The Painted Man today for my first tattoo. After a bit of research I found Meg (lou.loutattoo) & absolutely loved her work. We messaged a few times & agreed on this design & I’m so happy with it. She is so approachable & made sure I was 100% happy with her design before we started. I’ve had a blast today, the hours flew by as she worked her magic. The studio is such a relaxing place to be. Incredibly clean & professional. Everyone is so friendly, defo recommend the studio, & Meg in particular”

“Would highly recommend for its sublime food and friendly staff. Service certainly isn’t ‘fast food’ (possibly still learning the ropes..!) but very pleasant atmosphere to enjoy time between courses. We (table of 4) sat at 7pm Saturday night, and had the bill at 8:45pm and enjoyed 2 delicious courses each. BYOB executed well, with glasses and corkscrew provided on arrival. Food very reasonably priced for what you get. Thanks guys, awesome meal!”

“We visited Asylum on the 30 December, and really glad we did. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. There was a warm welcome from the staff, who found us a nice table, and gave fantastic table service. The food was amazing, so fresh and reasonably priced. We had a selection off five or six dishes off the menu along with a bottle of prosecco, the big was £63 , which was such good value. I would recommend a visit either just for a nice drink or sample the amazing food!!”

“Wow! We ordered from the special Valentine's Day set menu and it did not disappoint! Such tasty dishes! Food was ready at the correct pick up time and was piping hot. Excellent portion sizes and high quality produce used (even better knowing it's locally sourced) Can't wait to visit again when lockdown is over and enjoy the quirky dining area on the bus. The place is welcoming to everyone, and when my partner and I went to watch The Handmaiden, there were a wide variety of people in the audience, which is always good to see.”

We ere served by Dion and other members of the team who were extremely accommodating to our requests and needs - nothing was too much hassle for them! “I was born and bred in Thailand and this is the best Thai fusion food you’ll ever find in Manchester - It is a little pricey but it’s well worth it for a special night out. I cannot find any Thai restaurant in Manchester that offers Kao-Soi(Northern-style curry noodles) and Sai-Oua (lemongrass and herbs sausage) on the menu! I was very impressed with how they executed both. Went twice and will return. Cocktails are nice too.”
