“Outstanding! Freshly prepared, authentic, wonderfully tasty food - restaurant-quality dishes, amazing flavours... It took us a while to try Armenian Grill House as, compared to take away pizza or chicken, the prices appear a bit high. But I really wish we'd given them a try earlier, because their fabulous food is worth every penny. Highly recommended!! They will be out go-to take-out from now on!”

“If there was an option for 6 stars, this pub would get it. Came here after a walk in the area and walked in to friendly staff and a warm fire. It was a weekday so not so busy we got a table straight away. You think it can't get better. It does. The pie was amazing, mash was amazing and gravy was amazing too. Such lovely food we had to get dessert and that was, as predicted, amazing. Can't wait to come back here again and try the other food on the menu, really exceptionally good pub to come.”

“Sigiriya in Manchester is hands down the best Sri Lankan restaurant we’ve experienced in the UK so far! Just a 20-minute drive from Liverpool, it’s worth every minute of the journey. The restaurant is impeccably clean, and the atmosphere is rich and authentic, truly transporting you to Sri Lanka. The food here is phenomenal—every dish is bursting with flavor and feels incredibly authentic. Chef Dahanaka’s expertise is evident in every bite. A special shoutout to Anil and Lahiru for their outstanding hospitality; they made our dining experience even more enjoyable with their friendly and professional service. “I recently won a competition for a free meal at Gonbay. I remember this place from years ago and how good it was. We visited on Saturday night and was pleased to say it hasn’t changed a bit! The staff were outstanding and so welcoming. The speed of the food to the table was exactly how I like it. Enough time between each course and not waiting forever. The food was fantastic. Chicken skewers in satay sauce and honey spare ribs to start, followed by sweet and sour chicken , chicken foo yung, egg fried rice and salt and pepper chips for mains. All had a great taste and flavour and we were well and truly stuffed at the end! Thank you all so much and we will certainly be back very soon!”

“Just back from a lovely themed night at Aspire Restaurant at Traffordd College - fabulous value and great food. Really good prices for quality drinks too. We had a 3 course meal with additional appetisers on arrival and coffee with a sweet treat at the end and 2 alcoholic drinks each including their fabulous award winning Rhubard Gin Cocktail (delicious) All in it came to £50.20 for the 2 of us plus of course we left service on top of that. So pleased to have revisited and looking forward to more meals there going forwards. Well done Aspire!”

“Was here for a Christmas party. The food for our event was buffet style finger foods but with class not cheap stuff & tasted really nice!. Staff around were nice & polite. The venue was suitable for us with plenty of spacious seating & the dance floor with DJ booth was a decent size to boogie the night away. As is with most places around this area of Altrincham it's a little pricey- Paid £5 for a bottle of alcohol but in the area it is there's plenty of people with deep pockets. Had a really enjoyable night after a crappy week.”

“After reading negative reviews on here, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was really impressed by Townfields. It's not cheap but it's a proper restaurant and all such places cost these days. The point is, it's worth it. I considered removing a star for the staff being nothing like as knowledgeable as they should be for the standard of the establishment. But I decided that would be churlish. The service was good, it was friendly and it was quick. The atmosphere is relaxed and tranquil, just right for a quiet night out. The food, though, is what stands out. The two of us ordered different things over three courses and all six dishes were top quality. A bit different, beautifully presented and memorably delicious. Definitely recommended.”

“If you like good value, tasty pizzas then Papa Chinos is the best place. Yes, we have Rudy's, Nell's, and Domino's which are are good in Altrincham, but Papa Chinos is the best value. Order on their website for the best deals.”
