“We ate in here this evening and it was the best Thai meal we’ve ever had. Went for the salt and pepper ribs and spring rolls to start. The meat on the ribs fell off the bone and the spring rolls were so fresh. The mains were stunning too, salt and pepper chicken with rice and crispy pork, along with the signature loaded fries (topped with chicken and steak slices and leathered in a lovely spicy mayo, barbecue sauce, fresh chillis and spring onion). It was enough to feed four, honestly the portions are huge. It’s a shame not more people were in, because this place is so nice and the price is reasonable for excellent and fresh food. The service is a little slow, but the lady waiting on was lovely and I suppose may have been helping out in the kitchen. The chef also came out when we were leaving to have a chat with us, who was really friendly and welcoming. Overall a lovely meal and will definitely go back.”

Very generous portion sizes which are a bonus when the quality of the food is this good. “The best fish ’n’ chips in the area. PERIOD. Anybody saying the Kingfisher on Parrin Lane is better — and the other comments — listen up. Yes, they are super friendly at the Kingfisher. They also close at 8:30, not the 9 p.m. this one does. And you can’t complain that this no longer takes card payments because neither does the Kingfisher, but this at least allows bank transfer — so basically it takes card payments. Also, saying it’s expensive? Last night I got a LARGE FISH & CHIPS with a pot of GRAVY and a pot of MUSHY-PEAS (both of which are far superior to Kingfisher’s) for £11.20. I think that’s very fair. I’m posting the pics here so you can see how amazing they are — and that’s after going to Lidl and walking 10 minutes home. Hot, delicious, and not greasy. 10/10. Give them a try at least once so you KNOW for yourself. :)”

“Went today for late breakfast, was delicious. A bit time waiting, busy but staff was amazing and friendly. Didn't catch up any names, but all need a big pay rise working really hard in the kitchen and cleaning tables.
