“This is a fantastic rehabilitation centre! It has everything you need all under one roof for every part of your rehabilitation and onwards. It is fully accessible for all disabilities. I can't rate this place highly enough for everything they do. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. It has a WRVS cafe which is open until 2pm each day. Free Wifi Offer transport services for appointments. Which you do need to book in advance. This centre offers: Specialist Rehabilitation Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Prosthetists, Orthotists Postual Care Specialists and Counselling. Physiotherapy Gym, Wheelchair services, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics - casting and fitting rooms for both children and adults, Rehabilitation Counselling. The Manchester Prosthetic User Association and Manchester Wheelchair User Group are based here to offer Peer to Peer support to the centre's users. It also has a great resource area with lots of information and event details from numerous charities - Wheel Power, Limbless Association, Limb Power, Blesma, Reach, MacMillan Cancer Support, ManFit, Age UK, LimbCare and many more. The Ability Matters Store is here too, which stocks disability aids and equipment. The lovely staff can help you find exactly what you need to make your daily routine easier. Plus plenty of accessible car-parking.”

“Had to go here for a C spine MRI and I was so nervous and worried but the place has a really relaxing atmosphere in very posh surroundings, the scanner is down a few steps but they have a lift if needed. There were few people in and I was taken straight down. Had my own changing room and locker for valuables and the technicians were so lovely I can’t fault it. I had my head in a cradle which was better for me and my claustrophobia coz I could see the room n my feet and not the roof of the scanner. They provided ear buds and headphones with the radio on. I cud have fallen asleep if it was any longer. I was referred via the nhs. I would really recommend going here. I’m actually a bit disappointed my next MRI in 2 weeks is not here! Lol, I no complaints at all.”

“The Heaton Moor practice are always very pleasant and genuinely care about the welfare of your pet. Making appointments is easy and rarely have to wait too long. I have been taking my pets to Woodcroft in Heaton Moor for what must be in excess of 30 years and have never had any reason to complain. To make things easier I am in their pet club which makes payment for routine annual boosters, worming and flea treatment very manageable. I recommend taking your pet there (far better than the chain of vets you may know of up and down the country.”

“I can wholeheartedly recommend Soothe Children's Clinic. Both our boys have had issues with hearing, speech, and behavioral problems. They were both treated at Soothe and we were so happy to see incredible changes in both our boy's - relief from physical pain, development in hearing and speech, and improvements in their emotional wellbeing. Initially, we weren't sure whether the boys would behave, during the treatments, but with expert help they were made to feel comfortable & relaxed. Overall we were very happy with all aspects of the treatment & service.”

“Dr Kosutic performed Migraine Surgery on me in July 2024. I was having 3-4 migraines per week and they were really affecting my way of life. Thankfully since the surgery I have only had 4 in 25 days, and these went away quickly with OTC pain medication. Would definitely recommend this Dr and procedure to anyone suffering with migraines. I had tried the pain medication, triptans and other methods of controlling the pain however this surgery so far seems to have reduced the effect migraines have on my life. The scars are also almost invisible, being a plastic surgeon Dr Kosutic is very skilled at ensuring the scars do not affect your appearance. Having had the surgery I would be happy to speak to others about their concerns as I could not recommend this procedure and Dr Kosutic enough!”

I would always recommend Dr Khan as he is both an amazing Doctor but also has great principles. “I’m not a great fan of Cheshire East Council, some of their services are really poor. However Oakenclough Family Hub is excellent. It is a really outstanding facility for children. The stay & play, sensory room, toy library and cafe are absolutely outstanding. The building is modern and well thought out and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Why haven’t all councils got facilities like Oakenclough ? Well done Cheshire East.”
