Friendly atmosphere in Eccles

“I've had these nails done here and a handful more. The staff are really lovely and any one of them does a great job. They accept pretty much all walk ins. Saturdays can get very busy so if you have the time in the week I would recommend going then.”

“Monday evenings are very busy, motorbike meet night. Despite the large queue, managed to get served fairly quickly and food brought to table too.”

“My partner and I had a great time at the Station Bar watching 6nations game on Sunday. All the ladies working were welcoming and friendly. It was moderately busy and the vibe was relaxed. There seemed to be a good number of regulars enjoying either the rugby, the footie or a good chat. Most importantly, Guinness was spot on!”

“Got there at lunchtime and it was lovely and quiet. I went for the standard carvery and the other half had the chicken burger. The carvery was lovely and fresh with good sizes of meat. The chicken burger was good, apparently, but the coleslaw let it down. All in all a good quick stop off for a lunch that was hot and a good size. The cake slices were huge!”

“The usual.. great coffee and friendly emplyees. I am a fan to both Costa and Nero. The coffee is not bitter as starbucks. This tome I was lost in Manchester when leaving Trafford Center. Found this branch of costa in Eccles, had cakes and coffee, with our 4 pows friend (dog)”

“Veterans Breakfast club every Monday. Great place to pull up a sandbag and have a good old chat. Anita, Steve,Alan & Julie the fantastic 4 . Alan & Steve take your order then then even bring g it to you after Anita & Julie have worked relentlessly in the kitchen smashing out Breakfast after breakfast. All you do is sit back and drink as much tea & coffee as you can and put the world to rights. 9.30 - 11.30. The only rules are you need to book in advance so they have an idea of how much food they are going to need.”

“I Met Kerry on Sunday and Michelle on Monday at the club which is completely different now it is under new management and Kerry seems to be doing a superb job. A great atmosphere considering it was a Sunday evening but lovely like-minded strangers making friends and enjoying each others company. Monday evening was quieter but still a great way to relax after a difficult day. I will be back I will be back”

“Pretty much used this place for almost 18 years ! Tried other places when this was shut and no measure up ! Sometimes have to wait other times not depends on traffic ect. food is always bang on and I have a very specific order which is always followed.”

“The best fish ’n’ chips in the area. PERIOD. Anybody saying the Kingfisher on Parrin Lane is better — and the other comments — listen up. Yes, they are super friendly at the Kingfisher. They also close at 8:30, not the 9 p.m. this one does. And you can’t complain that this no longer takes card payments because neither does the Kingfisher, but this at least allows bank transfer — so basically it takes card payments. Also, saying it’s expensive? Last night I got a LARGE FISH & CHIPS with a pot of GRAVY and a pot of MUSHY-PEAS (both of which are far superior to Kingfisher’s) for £11.20. I think that’s very fair. I’m posting the pics here so you can see how amazing they are — and that’s after going to Lidl and walking 10 minutes home. Hot, delicious, and not greasy. 10/10. Give them a try at least once so you KNOW for yourself. :)”

I live in flats and had come downstairs to collect, he told me next time I don't need to come down and he would bring it to my door which I thought was lovely. I love the food from here, always full of flavour and tasty. The portions are really big too. If your looking for great food then I would definitely recommend. Thanks jade garden. “My absolute go to Chinese in the area. The portions are very well sized for the money and most dishes come with the rice or chips included. The food is always very hot and well presented. The fire chow mein and seaweed is our favourite! Definitely recommend as the best Chinese in the area, and we love supporting local.”
