“Highly recommended service from Karl from UPVC cleaning services, I got a phone call in advance to confirm that he was on his way, when he came out and cleaned and fixed my leaking guttering on my house in Prestwich, he fitted and rebalanced the guttering too, and also re-sealed gaps around my window, he took before and after photos to show me what had been done, and he tested everything was fixed, and even cleaned up any mess before leaving. Great work done, I am very pleased, Karl is very polite, highly knowledgeable and extremely informative. Highly recommend service, many thanks.”

“Our dog had a mysterious limp which turned out to be elbow dysplasia. We had a few appointments with Steve at MVS referred over from our usual vet. Steve was professional and personable, thorough with his assessment and set out a number of options but without pushing any in particular so we could make the choice we felt was appropriate. We’d definitely go back. Shout out to the friendly staff on reception too, who makes things run smoothly behind the scenes.”

“I have used the services of Arkadia dog grooming every 4-5 weeks since opening, with the exception of lockdown! I find the staff to be very professional. The visit starts with a consultation about your requirements for that particular visit with advice and guidance provided where necessary. Each time I have been happy with the quality of the groom provided and although my dog can be a little nervous he seems completely relaxed before and after his visit. In comparison to other companies I have used the prices are really competitive and the products used are really good quality.”

“We were in Manchester Saturday 17th so we decided to book our first experience in an escape room. There was me, my husband, daughter and sister. We booked the Creepy Carnival to start with as a two star difficulty rating. We had no idea how to play or what to look for but with the help of some clues from the staff we managed to break out with a minute to spare. It was so much fun trying to solve the clues and move from room to room using our logic and brain power. We enjoyed it that much, we booked another room for later on that evening. Different theme, harder rating. Despite our best efforts we failed to escape this one. We had an absolute blast. The rooms are well thought out, the clues are imaginative and if you're struggling there's lots of help from outside. Innovative and intriguing and the staff are lovely and welcoming, including Conrad who was very diplomatic about our combined efforts trying to decipher the puzzles. All in all a superb day out. Worth every penny. We will be back to try the harder ones in the future.”

“We used Gizmo's to look after our cat (also coincidentally called Gizmo) while we went on holiday and I am so happy with the service. They came everyday whilst away ensured that Gizmo was fed and happy, the service they provide is hassle free and we had no worries whilst away. We even got updates which we loved. “This place deserves 5 stars. Firstly upon entering the place was greeted by such a lovely and happy Chinese lady. They really do treat you like you are a valued customer. However regardless of this the food. Out of the hundreds of Chinese takeaways I've tried around the uk the food is the BEST. For my order I was told there would be a 15 minute wait. Yes they really did cook everything fresh. Even when I entered the building the lady was making something from scratch. When I got home the food was unbelievable. Sweet and sour chicken, the chicken batter still crispy it was so fresh. And it literally melted in my mouth. The ribs, crispy and extremely meaty, full of meat! The homemade spring rolls were the nicest I've ever tried. Unreal. And everything else we ate was just so fresh and full of flavour Another amazing thing, I didn't get that extreme thirst which you usually get from Chinese takeaways - most likely since the food is homemade and not from packets or jarred sauces. And lastly, pricing. I mean the prices are like they were years ago. Usually a £45 order cost us £29 today I honestly wish that this place gets the recognition it deserves because it really is the best in every possible aspect. Thank you so much pearl garden. “Bin going to this garage some years now. Theyre always fast and friendly and go the extra mile! I have no knowledge of cars and everyone fears they may be being duped but the mechanics here will specifically show you the issues and fully explain how and why it needs to be repaired so that you completely understand what your paying for. As someone with autism this is massively important to me and for that reason Id say the customer service here is 2nd to none.”

“Entrance to the UKVCAS centre is side of the building not through the St James Tower main entrance. There are plenty of parking spaces surrounding area. People are advised not go there early; they don’t have much waiting space inside. Only applicants are allowed to go inside. My wife had an appointment at 3:30 PM. We reached there 5 minutes before the appointment and receptionist let my wife in. It took 30 minutes to complete the process.”

But if you're looking for a home delivery for the same day you really do need to get in before 1pm really because most lots get taken up or that's what I've seen to a found. The staff are always happy to help you even though they always seem busy filling the freezers with new stock. I would definitely recommend to family and friends.”

Despite the store being clearly understaffed and a constant stream of Deliveroo orders coming in, Joe remained calm, patient, and professional throughout. It did take a bit longer than usual to get my order, but it was clear the delay wasn’t his fault – he was handling a lot on his own. Joe made sure to greet every customer politely, took time to get each order right, and didn’t let the pressure affect his service. I really appreciated his positive attitude and attention to detail, even in a hectic situation. If anything, Subway needs to make sure their staff aren’t left to manage such a high workload alone. Joe did a great job under the circumstances, and his customer service deserves recognition. I visited on the 29th June 2025 around 17:30.”
