Aleina in particular was a wonderful host who took really good care of us all. This is the third year in a row we've had birthday parties at the Light, and it never disappoints!”

The food and service were excellent; the paneer cocktail was something I had never had before, the naans were incredibly fluffy, and the cobra was delicious. The total cost came to about £28 per person. I'm happy to confirm that Marple Spice remains fantastic. The staff was so kind and we will definitely be returning.”

“Second time having Afternoon Tea here and still great. The staff are amazing. They are welcoming, friendly and attentive. The Afternoon Tea for 2 is tasty and fresh. We also ordered scrambled eggs on toast for our 8month old. He enjoyed it, as did I. It's the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Came out hot, too, which was even better. Would 100% recommend without a doubt.”

“Had breakfast here on a Sunday morning and would absolutely recommend. Both the waitress and chef were really friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I ordered the Omelette with chips which was ready within 10 minutes of ordering. The food was served hot and tasted great. Portion sizes were quite big and prices are reasonable. The atmosphere inside the place was really nice too. There's indoor and outdoor seating available plus a customer toilet. My only critique would be that the canned and bottled drinks are not refrigerated and I think they should change this. Would be nice if they made a kids menu too”

“Cocktails were 10/10!! It’s hard to make a delicious Pornstar Martini but they so good we went back for seconds!! Lovely atmosphere and our server V was very friendly and made the best cocktails! Cant wait to go back! So good to have a local fab cocktail bar!!”

“The shop - Walked in. It was clean and trendy looking. They had a games machine you could play on whilst waiting. Seating area was very comfortable. The Barber - Sami was my barber. Very friendly. Decent guy. Conversation was good and he knew his stuff. The Cut - I wanted a bald head and the beard tidying up. Sami sorted that out. Made sure my head was smooth and tidied up the beard nicely. He really put a lot of attention into the beard and when I asked him to change a bit of it, he was more than happy to help. The Price - For what I had I thought the price was awesome to be honest. The rest of the price list was actually pretty good. Overall experience and would you recommend - All the guys were friendly, but Sami made my first experience of 'In the Cut' a decent one. I will be back, and I strongly recommend this place to anyone that wants a decent cut by a team of guys who know their stuff in a trendy environment with a set of high-quality equipment and something that's not going to break the bank balance. I walked in was greeted with a smile and the young man called Mohammed behind the counter took seconds to identify which door handle I needed form a drawing! Brilliant customer service super knowledgeable staff. Mohammed was the best shop assistant I’ve met for ages. Super polite and with a can do attitude ready to help. Totally awesome ! Thanks so much”

“A relaxed yet elevated dining experience, the team here are definitely focused on delivering not only a fine dining tasting platter but also engaging the customer in the journey of the food and wine. It was such a relaxed experience even though you are literally in the kitchen and watching how they prepare and deliver your food. The food may seem small but the flavour certainly packs a punch and if you really want yo elevate your experience then get the wine pairing and enjoy the delicate and robust flavours that it brings to the dining.”

“I cannot recommend Dogz Club enough! We got our little Dachshund just as we entered the first lockdown, so there was inevitable anxiety around a lack of socialising, but DC has ensured our pup is so confident and happy around other dogs. The staff are so attentive and update me with honest feedback whenever I ask for it. The picture/video updates during the day of all the dogs having fun, regular themed parties throughout the year and goody bags are all examples of extra touches which makes this such a great day-care. “I have not been to this pub for fourteen years, but on Saturday 26th I went with work colleagues for a curry for my retirement and ended up in The Wheatsheaf. The Staff were brilliant young and vibrant, it was karaoke and everyone felt at ease the locals were very friendly. It was a good atmosphere and all had a great time.”

“Ford Mustang air conditioning not working properly. Been quoted up to £1000 by a con man to fix it. Paul at Kwik Fit fixed it in 10 minutes and fully explained what was wrong. Really nice bloke and have already recommended a friend to go who is having a similar problem. Highly recommended”

“Went to see Barbie with some friends. The seats were very comfy, lots of room. The popcorn was really fresh and the hotdogs were okay. The movie watching area was cool instead of freezing (great stuff!) and it was super clean! Staff were courteous and nice”

He was kind, polite and helpful- he deserves a bonus! FYI the store doesn't do full gait analysis, just a foot scan to indicate suitable shoes.”

“We did the saturday bottomless brunch. The chicken skewers starter was gorgeous and the prawn linguine was delicious. Really good value for the money, Amy and Connor were lovely and always made sure our glasses were full! Lovely atmosphere and setting, would recommend to anyone.”

“Absolutely love the food here proper home cooked hearty food which is actually quite hard to find these days. We come quite often to have lunch and I normally opt for one of their amazing pies and my other half loves their Lasagna. Staff are very friendly and welcoming aswell would definitely recommend to others”
