“Chelsey was very friendly and seemed really invested in the welfare of our two guinea pigs, asking lots of questions about their likes and dislikes, as well as their behaviour. She did a great job cutting their nails and they seemed quite content when I picked them up. It was also nice to see photos of them on Facebook while we were away. Will definitely return!”

“Visited 2/2/26. As a Disabled customer and I went on my own Firstly the hotel and restaurant are fully accessible. The entrance has a lift from street level and a button to call staff for assistance to operate the lift. Staff are very accommodating. There's a lift to the basement where the studio bar and lounge is located, it a jazz and singer style bar. Sophia was the most friendly and professional of bar tender The restaurant is a classic American bistro but in a refined and chic way and the food was succulent and favourful. The meat was *chef kiss. I highly recommend this place but male sure you book in advance.”

“Stayed here for a night and had a really lovely experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, the room was stylish and comfortable, and the location is ideal, right in the city but surprisingly quiet, even with the trams nearby. The staff were friendly, the bar downstairs was great for a drink, and breakfast in the morning was solid. The only small hiccup was that I'd requested a sewing kit, and it didn’t get brought up as promised, so I had to go down to reception to get it myself, which made me a bit late. I understand things get busy, though. Aside from that, everything else was great. I’ve stayed at a few Hotel Indigos and this one definitely held up, I’d be happy to stay again.”

“I recently stayed at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The service throughout my stay was excellent — staff were attentive, friendly, and always happy to help. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, making for a very pleasant stay. What really makes this hotel stand out is its beautiful building and rich history. Housed in a stunning Grade II listed Victorian building, the architecture and design carry a timeless charm. The interiors blend classic character with modern luxury perfectly — the high ceilings, ornate details, and stylish décor keep the historic essence alive while still feeling contemporary and inviting. Overall, it’s a perfect mix of history, comfort, and elegance right in the heart of Manchester. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable stay with a touch of heritage.”

“I will start by saying that this is a Premier Inn, so you know what you are getting from the very beginning, which is why I try to book PI when I go away as I know I will have a decent sleep in a comfy bed and an excellent breakfast the next morning. This Premier Inn was very easy to find, it was a very short walk from Media City tram stop, which was itself a very smooth journey from Manchester Piccadilly station. On this occasion, we had paid a little extra for a Premier Plus room, it was only £10 more than the standard room at the time of booking and it was more than worth it. Check in was nice and easy and the staff member was incredibly helpful, showing us how to activate a second key card for the room. Navigating to our room was also a very simple process (you have to use your key card to get through to the lifts and then again to use the lift, which is excellent security). The Premier Plus room was beautiful and exceeded our expectations, it was roomy, well decorated and had a fridge, iron and ironing board, Nespresso machine and a glorious rainfall shower. The room was spotlessly clean with no faults. We were very excited to see that we had a view that peeked a little onto "The Cobbles" (Coronation Street) as this was the reason for our visit. There is a Co-op a very short walk around the corner from the hotel, which proved very useful and is excellent placement. As always in a Premier Inn, we enjoyed an excellent nights sleep. We also booked breakfast for the next morning to set us up for our day out (I always recommend booking a PI breakfast). We were very impressed with the options available at breakfast, which has something for everyone and suits all dietary requirements. The very lovely, friendly and warm Lizzie ensured we were given the allergen menu (one of us is coeliac) and quickly ordered a plate of "vegan bacon" for us on request. The restaurant was smaller than the one at the last Premier Inn we were in, but we actually preferred this as it felt more intimate but didn't impact on the choice available, which was great! Unfortunately, the coffee machine was broken at breakfast, but there was still instant coffee and tea bags available to make a hot drink and this absolutely does not impact my review at all, as this is something that cannot be helped and we had a Nespresso machine in our room for a proper coffee anyway! Checkout was swift and straightforward, again, as we would expect from Premier Inn. We will definitely be returning when we visit Manchester again and really hope that we see Lizzie next time, as she was outstanding!”

“Having stayed at the Treehouse London I was looking forward to trying the newer and larger Treehouse Manchester. I decided to book the hotel as value was good at time of booking and location next to shopping centre and short walk to Aviva Studios was ideal. The room was very comfortable, large and well appointed with amenities needed for my short stay. Wider hotel had lots to offer as well with well equipped gym, plenty of spots to dine and drink and even a movie theatre. Will certainly be considering a future stay and visit to this hotel.”

“Thank you to Lewis Danny , Leon and the the whole team for such a welcoming stay - I could have stayed all week with a team like that , like are an absolute credit to your establishment. Leon served me in the restaurant. He was kind , warm , understanding , knowledgeable , helpful , professional, but above all else his service was exemplary, second to none! I have never met such customer service in a very long time , of this level , and how refreshing to meet someone that loves what they do , and has a positive attitude in all their work. Promote him very soon, or I'll be honest you are missing a trick here , and definetly do not let him move to another hotel. Danny was kind , warm so so welcoming & answered every question I had promptly & efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble and went the extra mile when my cab never turned up for around 40 minutes Thank you again to everyone! Sarah - from down south near Gatwick”

There is a small car park which we had no issue parking in during the week. Its 15 pound for 24 hours paid via Ringo. I left my kindle there and after some back and forward, I did eventually receive it in the post.”

High praise for the ladies down at the bar, which also serves as the reception desk. On my first evening, I asked for a new room because the ventilation was too loud, and I was promptly given a new one. Breakfast was good aswell. A good experience :-)”

“We stayed in a family room on the top floor. The room was clean & spacious & good amenities. It is an old building, not fancy & steep staircases but if you are ok with this then it's a great place to stay. All the staff in the hotel & down in the pub are brilliant, very welcoming & accommodating & they obviously get on well. Our breakfast was included as we booked direct & we got 20% off food & drinks at other times. The food was very nice & large portions. Excellent location especially if you're at an event at the AO Arena.”

“10/10 - The Stay Inn Manchester is everything you want from a budget hotel, but much, much more. Right on the doorstep of the City Centre, and very affordable. Where this ‘Budget’ Hotel differs from others in the field, is that this one is supremely well run, with an array of truly fantastic staff, for who, nothing is too much trouble. We stayed for two weeks during a difficult house move, and The Stay Inn Manchester bent over backwards to accommodate us, and help us during this very busy time. Friendly - Clean - Fantastic. I can thoroughly recommend this Hotel to you.”

“Booked a room for the Halloween weekend, had a wonderful experience, was greeted very politely by the receptionist who made me feel very welcomed, after reading the reviews I wasn’t really looking forward to my stay however on arrival I was shocked at how good of a level of service I received and how clean and tidy the rooms were, it was like I was walking into a brand new hotel. I was told by new staff members that the hotel is under new management hence the change in standards. I was very pleased with my stay and would recommend all my friend and family to also stay at this hotel when visiting Manchester as it’s one of the nicest budget hotels I’ve ever stayed at.”
