“Not able to judge the food (they dont sell any) or the atmosphere (as no one else was in) but the bar itself is wonderful. Only small, with an indoor upstairs seating area & a small section out front with tables & chairs (only good for dry days) Theres also a beer garden to the rear apparently (never tried it)? Although limited for bar space the beer selection is good. More often than not there are 3 locally brewed ales on cask & 8 beers on keg, which usually includes a dark one. Altrincham born & bred Iv'e been coming here since it opened in the early 2000s and despite both it sister bars closing (Chorlton & Liverpool) luckily this bar continues to trade. I wish there was a greater choice, but should you be unable to find something unsuitable on cask/keg, they also have a well stocked fridge with numerous craft ales so im confident you'll find something suitable. Not the cheapest of bars, but far from the most expensive. OK, its getting a little tired around the edges now & the downstairs disabled toilets could do with a bit of a face lift, but all that said I still highly recommend this place.”

We had the baby back pork ribs, maple syrup BBQ king prawns with cornbread, the 48 hour smokey beef brisket burger with cajun fries and the Jack Daniels BBQ pulled pork burger! “Had a couple of beers here on a Friday evening. The guest beer was in great condition and the bar staff were really friendly. Plenty of parking next to the pub. Sports were being shown on multiple screens. Would recommend and visit again.”

The staff are so kind and welcoming, eager to assist and generally make you feel like you're at a friend's for dinner! PJ was honestly incredible, the kids absolutely adored him and sometimes its a worry taking 2 kids under 5 for dinner but he was a breath of fresh air and made us feel comfortable the whole time! “Bunny Jackson’s in Manchester is unapologetically dive bar and they own that brand, and I didn’t realise how much I would miss a spot like this till I walked in. From the dim, sticky ambiance and dated decor to their neon signs with the loud chatter and cheap drinks, this place knows it’s a dive bar and wears it proudly. There are even signs that say things like we are sticky and messy, we got a dog, we are loud and we don’t care if you care. And it’s packed even on a weekday. But here’s the best thing about this place is the chicken wings. They are the cheapest wings I have seen yet are the best I have had in the country. I saw folks walk in solo just for the wings and bar food. The drinks and beers are wallet-friendly too, They’ve got over tap beers plus shots for when you want to get the party going. In the end , Bunny Jacksons is dive bar at its finest, and I will be back next time I am in Manchester.”
