After visiting his amazing 'showroom' we agreed a design for two wardrobes and a chest of drawers which he then created out of English oak and Cedar of Lebanon. Due to restricted access to the bedroom (small cottage) Gareth built the furniture in components and then finished the build in situ. Nothing was too much trouble for him... his only fault being working too hard and finishing up having his lunch at about 4 o'clock in the afternoon! Prior to the furniture he made 4 Oak internal doors and frames for us... again fantastic design and quality. Highly recommended!”

Firstly a joiner who was doing other work for us said he had never seen a better kitchen and that there are not many companies in the country who build to this quality. Secondly all our friends and family who have visited so far have been amazed by the transformation and without exception say it’s perfect especially for us and how we use the space. From our perspective I only have 2 words First Class!!! The experience has been first class from our first planning meeting with Andrew through the installation process and then the post installation support all led by Gary and supported by the fantastic technicians. “We have recently had some sliding/bifolding doors fitted on our outside bar area. Guy and the team had quite a challenge as this was originally built with the idea to keep it open plan but we decided to close it off. The timber structure wasn’t exactly straight and so it made things difficult at times but this was never a problem to them. There was always a solution and the work was carried out so professionally. “Not used for a while, but went in for a nosey. Quiet a selection of beds even though it's a small shop, i picked what I wanted a double ottoman, a nice matching headboard. They had a really nice double mattress and then had an even better one, which had a slight mark reduced, bought that. delivered on time, put the bed together, etc, and took our old one away (for a price, which was decent). Would thoroughly recommend Happy Days.”

“Working with Chris, Suzy and the team at Byles of Marple was an absolute pleasure, from the first time we walked in to the showroom to the day Richard walked out of our house at the completion of the job. Byles arranged and managed all elements of the project, from working with us during the design (nothing was too much trouble), to providing excellent trades people for all the various aspects of the project. The quality is excellent, you get what you pay for! And the workmanship was of a very high standard. The work meant several rooms and areas of the house being "out of bounds" at the same time, but the team always worked with us to ensure that this never felt a major issue. A pleasant plus was that the end of each day everywhere was swept and all tools and materials tidied away - we never really felt that we were living on a building site. The new Kitchen, Utility and Downstairs WC, has massively transformed our house, and we would most definitely recommend using Byles.”
