“As an international traveler I was pleasantly surprised at the way I was treated with my friends. There was understandable caution from the door team but after a positive interaction with the head door person we were allowed entry, there was quite a few of us . We all go out ID checked and that was humorous. The venue was just what we needed the place and the music was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and we had had an absolute blast! Thank you so much everybody at the Brewers, credit where credit is due!”

“Had a great experience at Nando’s. Ordered the half chicken, coleslaw, and halloumi, and honestly everything was banging — perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavour. Special shoutout to Haris, who was absolutely top-tier. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell he actually cares about customer service, which makes a big difference. Food was spot on, service was excellent, and the vibe was great. Will definitely be coming back.”

“Tasty, appealing food. Good service and yummy mocktails. We tried a lot of dishes and I can say that this is definitely a higher end Indian, not drowned in sauces, these dishes were well balanced, full of flavour and spiced well. “Nice Italian restaurant in the vaults of The Market Place. Prezzo was busy enough to be buzzing but not so busy that we had to wait. Food was lovely, I had the baked mushrooms followed by a main I can't remember (but was lovely) with truffle oil infused fries as a side. Sweet was sticky toffee pudding which was not particularly Italian, but very nice. Service in the restaurant was very good and they even catered for one of our party who needed his phone charging. Recommended.”

“Went here with my daughter who had booked us an afternoon tea. Great value and really enjoyed it. A cocktail was included in the price also and our visit coincided with perfect timing for 2 for 1 cocktails. Good location as right near to Deansgate train station. Waitress/bar staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive.”

“Really good food, it's "Americana diner" themed so expect big burgers and big fries. Their fries are absolutely gorgeous by the way, not too salty and came out red hot. Portions were also solid, not too much or too small. The pricing was also good, managed to pay for 4 people (including 2 starters and drinks) under £100. I marked service down a little because they forgot one of my guest's meals so they had to wait while everyone else was already tucking in. It was also quite dark inside, lots of tables in darkness so it was difficult to read the menu.”

“If I were to describe Manjaros in a nutshell, I'd say it was Nandos with a twist. There are a few different options from the traditional grilled chicken which are worth trying. The prices are steep, but the portions are very large and you need to have a very large appetite to finish your plate completely! You also get enough seating for large groups as well as proper table service with waiters and everything - something which really sets the experience apart. Look out for the excellent discounts that may pop up from time to time, making this place incredibly good value. If you enjoy this sort of cuisine, I suggest you give it a shot. It's well worth it. Oh, and it can get quite busy so to avoid disappointment make sure you call up and reserve a table before visiting.”

“I have to give this place a lot of credit, first time ordering & it'll now be a monthly treat. I got the set meal for 2 for £18.95 & both the lamb & chicken curry was amazing, when I walked in to collect my order, you can tell its a proper family restaurant & they're the best ones. Looks lovely inside as well incase anyone is wondering about eating inside.”

“Can't fault it for what you pay. We paid £66 per double room and booked 2. My wife, children and I had an overnight stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff where lovely, restaurant area was really nice, building itself from the outside is nice. Yes some bits are maybe a bit dated but what are you expecting for £66 a room.”

“I have been here a few times now and the staff have been so nice and welcoming and their karahi, tawa and pizza are the best. If you ever go past I would really recommend that you try this place modern spacious restaurant. we tried the Fish Masala for the first time and I actually really enjoyed it. we Also got a Lamb Tawa it was really nice. I will be coming back here to try Halwa Puri and Pink Tea This weekend.”

The service used to be really bad but they have changed the management and most of staff and they are exceptionally friendly now and the service is excellent too. Also they have live music every night however Siamak is much better than the other singer.”

“My wife booked this place and looking at the reviews, I was a bit dubious about staying there. We ended up having a great stay. Ok the hotel is a little dated but the room was clean and quiet. The receptionist was lovely and I thank her very much for her help. Easy access via the number 59 bus into and out of the city centre. Had dinner the first night in the adjacent pub and spoke to a lovely couple that said it has recently been taken over and things are a improving.. had a great stay and would recommend. Thanks.”
