“Hi, been in this shop several times both as a customer and as a courier / delivery driver. The people that own and run this business are a credit to their profession. Always willing to help with deliveries even offering cold drinks through the hot weather ! To top all this off, last week I visited the shop to get a watch fixed only for the guy to do it instantly there and then. I was so impressed and asked him the cost of the repair to which he replied don’t worry about it it only took me a short time so it’s ok I won’t charge. Wow just wow ! “I've been going to King's for around 3 years. The barabers are always very friendly, always give a good cut, and it's reasonably priced. As a bonus, they have a ramp for wheelchair access. I definitely recommend them.”

“This venue is absolutely incredible. I’ve now been to two weddings here and thoroughly enjoyed both. It’s a proper hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Saddleworth, you honestly wouldn’t expect it to be quite so impressive from the outside. Inside, the décor is tasteful, elegant, and beautifully thought out. There’s a stunning balcony that overlooks the main dining area, and the outdoor space is massive, perfect for weddings and, I imagine, other events too. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. I ordered some drinks I wasn’t supposed to, but he handled it really politely and respectfully. It's easy as a business owner to become jaded and not speak to people as individuals or talk down to them, but he's obviously a good dude and gives people the benefit of the doubt.”

“Lovely, small hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Nice pub too, Excellent breakfast. We stayed one night for the standedge tunnel canoe trip. Stayed here on Friday night and then the owner gave us a lift to marsden on sat morning to join the canoe trip. Diggle end of the tunnel is 200m from the hotel. Recommended.”

“The food was the expected, standard affair. And as good as it was, it wasn't the standout part of our experience. The Service was beyond exemplary. We were served with a high level of friendliness and they were also kind enough to suggest things to elevate our food experience further. One example is asking about the type of bread we'd like in the Full English and another is if we'd like any additional flavouring in our Iced Lattes. This may seem obvious on the surface, but it's something that's regularly missing from the service at other breakfast establishments. It was a little pricey compared to other places, but that can be forgiven due to the friendly atmosphere, good food and exceptional service.”
