“Treated myself to a "freestyle" gel manicure while in town for a few days and loved it. Got a cup of tea and chatted with Meg while she cleaned up my cuticles (I never get manicures so there was a good amount of prep work, but Meg was a pro and I didn't feel any discomfort which I'm usually nervous about). Then she asked what colors & designs I like; even though this was a freestyle (aka artist's choice) she wanted to make sure I liked it too. Love how it turned out, and a great value too considering in the US this kind of nail art would easily be $100+.”

“Clive provided an outstanding service from start to finish, and most importantly it was all stress free! We were given a large choice of products to choose from and we were not disappointed on fit out day - products looked amazing in the catalogues and matched in real life. Clive and his team (fitter, electrician and plasterer) all did a great job onsite, very friendly and courteous. They always listened to what we wanted and made it happen. All very trustworthy and helpful. Many thanks for all the good suggestions that were provided to us. Clive was very helpful in co-ordinating the electrician to fit a new fuse board and change a few broken sockets around the house - all at very reasonable prices. He also introduced us to a good waste disposal company and plumber too. He is clearly a professional and well connected! We really like our new kitchen and can't wait to use it. We went for a dove grey shaker and it looks classic and really neat. It has transformed the space. David and the fitter Matty has also been supberb.”

Before Sands I went to lots of other salons but they never listened to what I wanted or could get the colour right. “I don’t usually leave reviews however, this true act of kindness by the Salon Owner and her staff has meant the world to me and my daughters. I was hospitalised due to pneumonia, my daughter had braids in her hair from holiday and lots had fell out, she was devastated. My mum tried several hairdressers and finally went to Prestige. Jo and a colleague replaited my daughter’s hair immediately and even gave her replacement bobbles, when mum offered to pay they politely refused to accept anything. My daughters were upset that I wasn’t at home and this act of sheer kindness is beyond words. I actually am a customer of prestige however had not had extensions for some time (when I did they were amazing). However, the staff didn’t realise it was my daughter which is even more heartwarming thank you Jo and Team keep up the incredible work xx”
