“Best hairdresser in Manchester. I have been having my hair cut and coloured with Sands (Meg) for over 4 years and it’s always exactly what I want and better! Before Sands I went to lots of other salons but they never listened to what I wanted or could get the colour right. I now live in the city centre and travel out to Alty just to go to Meg because she’s just excellent. The whole experience is more than just a haircut, it’s feels like a catch up between friends and my stomach hurts from laughing every time I leave. Highly, highly, highly recommend.”

I asked for a design which is very complicated, they didn't have a charm similar but the nails technician lady has drawed it by herself and made it 3D. The result look incredible. So when I discovered The Knot on Instagram, I was comforted by their customer-first philosophy and the emphasis placed on an individual and tailored experience. I was lucky enough to have an appointment with salon owner David who made me feel comfortable right from the start and was so accommodating to my needs. He was so personable and kind, I really enjoyed our conversation, so much so I forgot I was having my hair done! The end result was nothing short of perfect and exactly what I had asked for. Recently after our new sofa failed we remembered a handsome locally made sofa being displayed at Lot 54 and returned to obtain more info. Daisy was brilliant and discussed a myriad of details over a cuppa - loads of fabric samples offered - a very nice service indeed. We also bought a super chic throw which had a great discount so a total win win. Next time we’ll probably will start our furnishing adventures in this spot. Thank you”

Nolte was a great choice for us and he managed to make a very nice kitchen for us. He is always responsive, in no time, takes care of every minute detail. We had a few months delay with thr builders extending the kitchen but he was very accommodating, stored thr units till we were ready. He managed to adjust the design even after the builders did a crucial change. Still looked fabulous. Worktop, appliances and fitting were super excellent. I had a thorough shopping around before settling with Indesign who are one of the best in Manchester not only Altrincham. I strongly recommend them.”
