Memorable in Cheadle Hulme

“Fantastic hotel. As a corporate, I've stayed in many hotels and I can honestly say that the village cheadle is the best in terms of service, attentiveness / friendliness of staff, food quality is top quality, gym and spa facilities excellent. Im a member of David Lloyd and I can tell you the quality of the gym and spa at the village cheadle is on a par to DL at a fraction of the price. Village cheadle is 3* hotel but in my opinion it far surpasses the other 4* hotels in the vicinity”

“Superb food, friendly helpful staff, what more could you ask for? Having not eaten here before we decided to try a few dishes and had the chicken pad Thai, chicken drunken noodles, spring rolls, prawn toast, spicy chicken wings and a king prawn dish whose name escapes me. Oh and prawn crackers with sweet chilli sauce. No complaints at all. The food was stunning and was devoured by the whole family. My daughter was caught off guard by how spicy the pad Thai was but she had a feast of everything else.”

“I would recommend this Hotel for your dogs without any hesitation. I booked them in twice last year and have booked them in for next year. They loved it and I felt so at ease when I received regular pictures of them running round the garden having fun and even lounging stretched out on the couch in the evening xx Josie loves them all like they are her own xx”

“Been getting my haircut from Noah for a while now, and he has never failed to deliver, the trim is always on point and the service is great. The shop has good vibes and is cleanly presented. Overall a 10/10 Experience.”

“I don’t usually leave reviews however, this true act of kindness by the Salon Owner and her staff has meant the world to me and my daughters. I was hospitalised due to pneumonia, my daughter had braids in her hair from holiday and lots had fell out, she was devastated. My mum tried several hairdressers and finally went to Prestige. Jo and a colleague replaited my daughter’s hair immediately and even gave her replacement bobbles, when mum offered to pay they politely refused to accept anything. My daughters were upset that I wasn’t at home and this act of sheer kindness is beyond words. I actually am a customer of prestige however had not had extensions for some time (when I did they were amazing). However, the staff didn’t realise it was my daughter which is even more heartwarming thank you Jo and Team keep up the incredible work xx”

“Nothing but positive experiences with Bean Machines over the last few years. I manage two coffee shops on opposite ends of London and bean machines have always been fast, efficient and well priced. We had one of our coffee machines recently serviced by Luke, who was great, providing a thorough service along with a replacement pump which id been meaning to do for a while. Very friendly with great customer service! Highly recommend.”

“I have not been to the March Hare in a while due to the last few visits being very disappointing . Todays vidit has definitely changed my opion. We were greeted by the assistant manager Gav, he was pleasant and accommodating. We had not booked but he managed to squeeze us in. The waitress Georgia was very pleasant and professional. The food was lovely and service was prompt. 2 empty plates. The refurbishment was in character and creates a family friendly atmosphere. The outdoor area has had a much needed upgrade and definitely a place I will visit on a sunny day. The toilet upgrade is definitely a vast improvement . Excellent selection of drinks including a vast variety of zero alcohol. I would highly recommend it .”

“The Hesketh is hands down the best place for a Sunday roast! I had the chicken roast and it was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, juicy chicken with crispy roast potatoes, fluffy Yorkshire pudding, and rich gravy that tied everything together beautifully. The portions were generous, the presentation spot on, and the flavours reminded me of a proper homemade Sunday dinner, only better! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. It’s clear the team really take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for the perfect Sunday roast in the area, The Hesketh is definitely the place to go. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be back next week !”

“So, fundamentally this was a really nice place. The atmosphere is modern yet comfortable. I felt it was clean and well-looked after and I did not find anything obvious out of place. Our party was there for a wedding reception and there were quite a lot of us. We ordered a lot of food and although I felt that the service was a little slow perhaps, I didn't find it slow to the point of questioning it as, after all, they were cooking approximately 20 meals from scratch. I ordered lamb shank and crème brule and I really enjoyed the lamb. I found it to be well cooked and definitely enjoyed my meal. As far as I am aware most of our party enjoyed their meal and we found nothing to complain about with the food at all. The service was actually really pro-active and helpful and I got the impression that nothing was too much trouble and the staff were really polite.”

“Julia is fantastic she makes you feel so relaxed even when it’s your first treatment and answers any queries you have to ensure you have all the information before having the treatment. Lovely little salon which is so clean I wouldn’t go anywhere else and would highly recommend.”

“After 7 years of living in the area , yummy is still my go to for chinese / cantonese food. I try others when yummy is closed, when i just crave this cuisine ..and can not wait one more day till yummy opens , and its just not as good. I hope they are only away for chinese new year as they have been closed most of feb i think...hurry up back”
