“What a gem of a place. This is one of the most authentic and pleasent Italian places I had the pleasure to eat at in a very long time. Let's say that if I lived in theare me and my girlfriend would most definitely weight a few more stones/Kgs. As well as the food it is cosy, attentive stuff, quick enough service (to not make you think they want you out of the door) definitely a must try.... Book of you can as space is limited.”

“I came to French Tacos at 03:00 in the morning after a long day of work and wanted a quick bite to eat before I headed off home to sleep. As I stepped foot into French Tacos, I was greeted by the 2 guys at the counter, as it was my first time I wasn’t sure what option to choose as there was so many delicious options to choose from the menu, so they helped me out and recommended I try a mixed meat wrap. Whilst waiting I was asked how my day was and had a great chat with the guys. The mixed wrap I had been recommended was really nice and delicious, I loved the potion size and the mixed meats inside the wrap it went so well especially with the cheese. It was perfect. Anyone new to this place or exploring it online for places to eat?, I completely recommend you try this place. Thank you lots to the owners.”

“Been wanting to check out since moving to the area and loved the cozy atmosphere. I was SO happy they had vegan milkshakes as I've not been able to find anywhere that makes them! “This establishment is an ABSOLUTE diamond in terms of food quality and staff. I have to say, this place serves the BEST bacon sandwich ever. Beautiful thick sliced doorstop bread, top quality bacon cooked to exactly how you like it, perfect crispy. Brown sauce. Their coffee is really really really good!! On top of it all, the friendliest staff. If you’re in the area, don’t miss it!”

“Couldn't star the food as we didn't have any HOWEVER.... the lady who owns The Gallery is an incredible artist and it shows in the decor. Before I go any further, this is also a great bar with lovely cocktails. Stunning is an understatement, there is something interesting to look at everywhere you turn. Inside and outside, just beautiful, a gorgeous place to visit. I just wish she opened every day and night, but alas, only Thursday to Saturday. Friday being the only late one till 10pm. Go and visit, you won't be disappointed.”

“The Black Friar has been amazing to work with for our friendship group's annual Christmas lunch. They made the entire booking process extremely easy, with all the T&Cs clearly outlined from the start. On the day we were looked after by Jess, who was incredible, very quick to respond to any issues raised, never kept anyone waiting, so accommodating with our various quirks (like pictures), and was easy to reach when needed without making it seem like hovering. And always with a smile, of course. Truly, truly a standout member of the team deserving of all the praise. The food at the Black Friar was also divine, incredibly generous portions (that I admit, have bested me) and every bite was a pleasure for all the senses. Our whole group was very happy with the afternoon we got to spend there and we will definitely be looking into coming back for next year's annual Christmas lunch, a total gem of a pub.”

She greeted us with the kind of warm, natural smile that instantly makes you feel like you’ve chosen the right place for dinner. Nicole’s service was impeccable from start to finish. She struck the perfect balance of attentiveness without hovering, somehow anticipating what we needed before we even asked. Water glasses never dipped below half, orders were double-checked for accuracy. What impressed me most was Nicole’s genuine enthusiasm for the menu. She offered thoughtful recommendations based on our tastes and described each dish with detail – and she was spot-on every time. It’s clear she knows and loves the food here, and that passion is contagious. Beyond the technical side of service, Nicole made the evening memorable with her personable nature. She engaged with us in a way that felt friendly and sincere, not scripted. By the end of the night, we felt less like customers and more like welcomed guests. “Me and my friend love Chinese takeaway and we decided to try that place and honest to god it was so good. We had a create your own noodle box and honestly didn’t disappoint. My friend was so shocked and now every time I see her we always go there to eat. The service is amazing! You can watch them make the food and the drinks there are very cheap. Whenever I eat there I always walk out looking very happy. Best noodle & sushi place ever! If you’re a sushi or ramen/ noodle lover I would definitely recommend going there.
