“Stopped into this pub on the way home from a weekend wedding to break up our journey. The chef and host could not do anymore for us. The food (mikes kitchen) was delicious I had a chicken roast and my husband had a homemade pie. Our daughter is a fussy eater they accommodated her perfectly. Staff were very friendly and easy to talk to, as we left they were setting up for karaoke, wish we weren't leaving.”

“We always order the same meal, yes boring but it's a good way of knowing the good from the not so good, ordered the beef foo yung and chicken chow mein as we have done many times before, but have to say this evenings was exceptional!! “Made an order for delivery and realised I’d made a mistake. Called shakes and bakes 20 mins later thinking it’d be too late and they were happy to amend the order for me. Really lovely staff who work there, just genuine people. Desserts are always 10/10, sweet diner is our go to most weekends!!”

“Never been here before but there was a band playing that we wanted to see. Great that some pubs are still willing to have live music. Really busy but the staff were excellent so no problem getting served. Although there was a choice of bitters it's a shame that there was no cask ale. A good looking pub and a friendly atmosphere and the band were brilliant so a really enjoyable Saturday night.”

“I have been going to this Cafe since my college days 6 years ago when it used to be a caravan and now it is a shop and the food still tastes amazing and consistent from the very first time trying it out. Bangla Burger is the best with rich flavour and spices and is very filling. I would highly recommend this if you are in the Hyde area/town.”

“We turned up just as they were closing as we got stuck in traffic, we’re currently visiting family in the area and really wanted a Chinese before we leave tomorrow. The really kind Lady and gentleman opened the kitchen back up for us to cook our meal. We ordered a large amount of food between a few of us and it tasted absolutely delicious! Amazing portion sizes and even better prices!! We have had exactly the same from other Chinese takeaways and they’ve been much more expensive and worse in taste. “New Landlord Ryan has only been there 24 hours but what a difference already - obviously still got a few things to do but Rome wasn’t built in a day. Definitely a lot cleaner and beer tastes miles better! Nice to actually have hand soap in the toilets as well”

“We absolutely love it here! are regulars at Mottram wood because as a family of 6 we find that it has everything we need for all of us. Great food, friendly staff, a good play area for the kids and an outside area. And then the food is decent pub grub at a very reasonable price. We find it to be the best play area / restaurant around Manchester. We came here for Christmas dinner which was great and so reasonably priced and today my son just had his 6th birthday party at the wacky warehouse. Alex and Jess in the play area are outstanding and can’t do enough for you and the kids adore them too.”
