“I went in a couple of week’s ago for the first time because I saw they cut quite a lot of long hair and a couple minutes in I felt In good hand’s as Rihanna gave me a whole education on hair and the process of growing it after I had a amazing experience in the barber chair Andy showed me the clothing section upstairs telling me about how they are designed in house and made in the uk I was surprised at how good the quality and design was even ended up buying a pair of pant’s which are one of my favorite now.”

“Eastwood Clinic is a clean and welcoming place, as soon as you walk through the door there is a friendly atmosphere from all the staff. The service is very efficient and the practitioners operate in a professional but personable way. As an English person I had no understanding or experience of Chinese medical practises before I came to Eastwood. I have a number of health conditions that I heard acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine could really help to improve. I didn't know what to expect when I first went to the clinic, Dr Venus Lai gave me a very thorough consultation and explained to me my health condition in Chinese Medical terms, I was very impressed by the detailed analysis of my health and Dr Lai was very patient to answer all of my questions. I then received acupuncture treatment which I was very interested (and a little bit nervous to try!) Dr Lai (or Dr Kidney as she is known!) talked me through each step as she applied needles to specific points (first in my legs and feet) that were appropriate to improve my specific health issues. I was then left to relax and let the needles take effect on my nervous system and improve my blood circulation. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep! Since then I have been going back regularly to Eastwood clinic and have seen an improvement in my health, particularly to my blood circulation. Together with a regular prescription of herbal medicine and acupuncture treatment I have noticed a significant change in my condition. I will keep going to Eastwood Clinic and highly recommend to anyone to go there for the treatment and amazing staff!”

“I want to say thank you to Doug for a fantastic recovery for me and I couldn’t recommend Doug and the Altius team enough. I had what originally was seen as a groin injury by the original physio I went to that I got playing football. I ended up at 2 different physio organisations that weren’t Altius, went through 6-8 week groin recovery treatment both times but the issue didn’t go away either time. I went to Doug and Altius and it turned out I had a torn adductor and also a double hernia. Doug put a plan to put a focus on repairing the adductor first, then have surgery on the hernias followed by physio recovery of the hernias surgery. The recovery program was very focussed on building things up, not pushing past where things were ready and ultimately rebuilding strength, flexibility at the right pace. I went from thinking I was probably never going to play football again at times during the injury recovery to now having been back playing for 4 months and have no limitations around mobility and feel great playing again. Very professional, clear on the recovery processes and confident that things would get back to normal after time which helped with my belief about getting back playing again. L”

“The best nursery we could have picked for our daughter. We chose Kinder Giggles because it was small and has a family feel to it. My daughter was born during lockdown and had some health issues and i felt supported by the staff in making sure she was safe and settled. She absolutely loves her time at nursery with all of her friends. We are kept up to date with all of the amazing activities they do throughout the day. Management have always been approachable and flexible if I have needed to change days or times. They are definitely my favorite bachata teachers in Manchester, professional, caring and funny, never felt bored or left behind in their classes, also they organize events with some interesting themes every now and then, such as, Hawaii party, back to school party, etc. If you’re a bachata/ salsa dance lover, and got a chance to visit Manchester, don’t miss their classes.”
