“I’m pretty sure that Peter & co saved Roxy’s life - and I cannot thank him and the staff more for that. At almost 17 years old, this hip dislocation was never going to be easy but as you can see, she’s up, weight-bearing and walking outside on her own for toilet time. After every sleep (and there are many at her age) we are seeing an improvement. Check up at Chipping Norton Vets tomorrow afternoon and I’ll report back. Not out of the woods yet but so far the hip is staying in place and apart from a little confusion when her leg occasionally gives way she’s making a remarkable recovery. Thank you once again. “What a wonderful place to be poorly in - having had a terrible experience earlier in the year at 'another hospital' in the next Borough I can't praise the Team in A+ E enough. Particularly Katie Frost in Reception, Marius, Oliver and Babatunde for their kindness and respect shown to my Brother - who had a nasty fall due to his Parkinson's - through to Dr Alasdair Marshall who again was so professional and personable. We arrived by Ambulance at 2pm and it felt like checking into a Hotel - even waiting until 10pm for the Doctor to be able to see Chris we never felt neglected or dismissed. “I like it here. A medium sized pond with a view up to the hills, on a quiet gravel road. Sometimes the cows come down to the water's edge, or the mist makes the whole scene gorgeous. Mallards, tufted ducks, coots, the occasional goosander, heron and kingfisher. Flocks of geese in the fields often. Swans nest here in the summer.”

“We booked The Mews and The South Cottage for 5 nights for our wedding. The cottages were spotless, the interiors were beautiful and the views and ground of the cottages were stunning. It felt like homely luxury! The layout worked really well in terms of the number of bathrooms etc. It was the perfect place to get family and bridesmaids together before the wedding and such a beautiful place to get ready on the wedding morning itself. Would definitely recommend.”

“This was our second visit to Kerridge End and we had another comfortable stay in The Hayloft. Good facilities for a wheelchair user with a lovely wetroom and shower chair provided. Very well equipped cottage having everything we needed. A lovely hamper was left for us on arrival and a delicious plate of homemade scones and jam too. Plenty of places to visit in the area.”

“Placed a telephone call to UK Lacrosse this afternoon (Friday) with an equipment query. I couldn’t have been more catered too if I had tired. Really excellent customer service, and even though shut on Saturday, they have made arrangements for me to access equipment (helmets) I intend to try on for size (before buying) at another venue. So fast forward to Saturday, and I met up with UK Lacrosse at a Box Lacrosse competition in Macclesfield, again as stated, they bought along a few helmets for me to try out. Once settled on one, I was quite happy to place my order online and wait, but knowing that I needed it for Monday, they actually drove to their shop with me, opened up (despite being closed of a weekend) and let me complete the transaction and walk away with my new helmet. Excellent shop, excellent customer service, I’ll be back again, and advise everyone to utilise this gem of a store/company.”
