Even during the covid pandemic, this store delivers a large range of items (from fresh fruit to home baking), friendly staff and most importantly good value for money. “Our dog had a mysterious limp which turned out to be elbow dysplasia. We had a few appointments with Steve at MVS referred over from our usual vet. Steve was professional and personable, thorough with his assessment and set out a number of options but without pushing any in particular so we could make the choice we felt was appropriate. We’d definitely go back. Shout out to the friendly staff on reception too, who makes things run smoothly behind the scenes.”

“We have been going to Kiki’s since it opened in Swinton and Baxter always looks lovely when we pick. Baxter loves Leanne and lets her brush him whereas he doesn’t let any of us at my house brush his ears. Definitely recommend.”

“I have been highly satisfied with every visit, from reception to nurse and vet. All very welcoming and very professional, they are a great team and my pooch loves going. Our rabbit needed an emergency appointment which they gave me without hesitation, she then had to have a leg amputation. I knew that she would receive the best possible treatment and love and attention. Would highly recommend.”

“Just discovered this pub and so impressed. Great friendly service from Melissa. Food was very tasty and you could tell everything was fresh. Compliments to Astra in the kitchen! Very generous portions too which delighted hubby. We went for lunch and there were tables available without booking. “Three of us stayed two nights whilst attending a family event nearby. We found the hotel clean, warm and comfortable, the staff extremely welcoming and very, very helpful. The breakfast was generous and well prepared with a huge selection of fruit, cheeses, cereals and pastries to chose from including nuts and seeds to sprinkle plus jams, honey etc on tap, none of those horrid little polluting plastic containers. The restaurant is bright and airy with comfortable seating and lovely views of the garden. This is a great hotel if you need outdoor space, there are huge lawns and patio areas. We found parking easy though at busier times that may be an issue, it's not huge. We ate in the restaurant one evening and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and my daughter's need for lacto- and gluten-free catered for. Our room was adequately spacious even with the (very comfy) sofa-bed open for use, when it's folded away it would be a very generous space, great lighting too, the separate bathroom and toilet makes for convenience when sharing, that's rare in a modern hotel. We left a precious item behind and the staff very kindly prepared it for posting back and it arrived safely. It was our first experience of Novotel and we wouldn't hesitate to use this one again and highly recommend it.”

Benton is a nervous soul due to some experiences he's had in the past and Melissa was so good at reassuring him and building up his confidence. I actually work with dogs myself and it's clear that Melissa is the real deal - she understands canine behaviour. I'm extremely happy and would highly recommend her services.”

“I wouldn’t trust another vet practice! PetMedics have been a continuous support for my dog who has been chronically ill since a puppy (now nearly 10!). Care, expertise and customer service is second to none. Always happy to work with Lola’s comfortability, and take into consideration her special needs whenever administering treatment. She has been recently hospitalised due to a viral infection and again has made a full recovery after excellent healthcare provided by Dr Ben and his entire team at both worsley and Elysia up at Walkden. 10/10 recommend.”
