“So this is a bit late, but i went away on holiday for 3 weeks and booked my large cockapoo and cocker spaniel in together for the duration… Keepers were fantastic, they put my worries at rest over a phone call as i’ve never boarded them before. They were collected and dropped off which made it a hassle free process for us, and the dogs were just as always - no sulking!! “Three of us stayed two nights whilst attending a family event nearby. We found the hotel clean, warm and comfortable, the staff extremely welcoming and very, very helpful. The breakfast was generous and well prepared with a huge selection of fruit, cheeses, cereals and pastries to chose from including nuts and seeds to sprinkle plus jams, honey etc on tap, none of those horrid little polluting plastic containers. The restaurant is bright and airy with comfortable seating and lovely views of the garden. This is a great hotel if you need outdoor space, there are huge lawns and patio areas. We found parking easy though at busier times that may be an issue, it's not huge. We ate in the restaurant one evening and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and my daughter's need for lacto- and gluten-free catered for. Our room was adequately spacious even with the (very comfy) sofa-bed open for use, when it's folded away it would be a very generous space, great lighting too, the separate bathroom and toilet makes for convenience when sharing, that's rare in a modern hotel. We left a precious item behind and the staff very kindly prepared it for posting back and it arrived safely. It was our first experience of Novotel and we wouldn't hesitate to use this one again and highly recommend it.”
