So when I discovered The Knot on Instagram, I was comforted by their customer-first philosophy and the emphasis placed on an individual and tailored experience. My actual experience in the salon matched and exceeded my expectations! I was offered a drink on arrival and was given a beautifully presented mint tea with my favourite biscoff biscuits. I was lucky enough to have an appointment with salon owner David who made me feel comfortable right from the start and was so accommodating to my needs. He was so personable and kind, I really enjoyed our conversation, so much so I forgot I was having my hair done! The end result was nothing short of perfect and exactly what I had asked for. I feel so much more confident in myself and I am extremely grateful to David. He is an exceptional stylist and I will absolutely be returning and recommending the salon to others, including my mum who has just moved here and is looking for a new trusted hairdresser! “My daughter joined Starlight over a year ago. She really loves the lyrical dance session and what I appreciate is the lack of exams and snobbery at the school. It makes her soul sing to be a part of such an inclusive, dynamic, nurturing and encouraging dance school. Thank you for all the opportunities you’ve provided for her too, to be on stage at The Waterside and Sadlers’ Wells even though she’s only been dancing a year. I did try to bring her to dance classes several times but it’s not until she’s towards the end of primary that she’s been brave enough to throw herself into it and it’s wonderful to see!”

“As a new golfer, I first went to Richard for a club fitting. I was immediately impressed by the data analysis he presented to me after I tested a number of different brands and models of irons. This allowed us to make an informed decision when choosing the set to order. Once my set of irons arrived I initiated my first block of lessons at The Golf School. As anyone will know who plays golf, there are so many elements to a golf swing but the highly technical launch monitors, camera systems and teaching aids that Richard uses at his facility really help you to understand your swing and see the impact when you make changes. When things don’t go so well you can more easily identify which area you need to work on too. The indoor facilities allow you to continue with lessons and practice no matter what the weather, enabling further improvement throughout the winter season when you might otherwise have not been out as much as you would have liked. Richard is a great communicator and he ensures you have a clear understanding of his teaching. He is informative and friendly and delivers his lessons in a relaxed environment. I am incredibly pleased with the progress I have made since having lessons with Richard and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their game technically but also psychologically.”

“The best person to leave your dog with! I can’t say enough good things about Debby and how great she has been at looking after my puppy George. He adores her and loves going to doggy day care with her. I know when I drop him off I don’t have to worry and can set off for work rest assured George is going to have an amazing day and be well looked after. After lockdown I was called back into work with short notice and I tried leaving George on his own for a few days for short periods and when seeing how distressed he was I searched for a doggy day care online. After seeing Debby’s reviews I sent an online enquiry and she called me within a few minutes, offered me to pop over there and then to see her house and meet her and now George goes to her five days a week and I wouldn’t want him anywhere else. She has a great set-up in her home and garden where everything is secure and I feel like it’s another home for George where he is shown love and affections as well as being able to socialise with other dogs. He gets lots of exercise, playtime and food and I get to pick him up at the end of each day super happy and pretty tired which is perfect for me after a long day in work. Debby is always accommodating and I know she will always make decisions based on what is best for all the dogs to make sure they are happy and safe. I know there are larger set ups for doggy day-care but what I love about Debby’s house is it’s George’s second home and he will only ever be around other dogs that have been vetted by Debby to ensure they can play safely. Debby sends regular updates throughout the day of George having lots of fun and he is so desperate to get to hers in the morning he barely eats breakfast! I really couldn’t recommend a better person to look after your dog! Thank you Debby!”

“1st session: Glyn from Cheshire Dog Services Ltd is amazing. Took us ages to pick our jaw up from the floor. We've got an 8 month old GSD who pulls on walks, doesn't listen to my wife at all, jumps up all the time in the house and on walks. In one session Glyn had him listening to his every word, waiting 15 minutes next to a pile of treats without eating them. He showed us how to get Samson to sit, lie down, wait at the door and how to get Samson to heel on his walks. He gave us clear commands to give Samson in various situations. It was amazing,. The next day I took Samson out for his walk, did what Glyn had told us and he walked to heel, wasn't as distracted by people and other dogs. A week on he's brilliant on walks. We both enjoy them a lot more, he heels, leaves other distractions behind him, no longer jumps at, or on people on his walks, and he doesn't try to pull your arm off when other dogs are around [to play with them] . He's a different dog, all thanks to Glyn. I cannot recommend Glyn and Cheshire Dog Services enough for what they have done for us and Samson. We're continuing to see Glyn to embed what we've learned so far and to enrich ours and Samson's future.”

“The best dog daycare in the area! We've tried a few others and Domestic Doggess is so much better. No smelly warehouses or freezing cold caravans in a field. They have an amazing free range outdoor space full of obstacles and fun and a lovely warm, indoor area for rest and sleep. Emma, Jonathan and the team treat the dogs like their own family. Regular photo updates throughout the day, and nothing is too much for them. Both our dogs have been going here for years and they stay here when we're on holiday too (boarding). Thanks for everything you do for the dogs!”

I live in Shrewsbury and have been attending this clinic for many years and can attest to the exceptional implant and bridge dental work carried out by Dr. Richard Bradshaw and Dr. Jonny Crockett. I have a confidant smile now and can eat and chew without concern. This dental practice is highly professional, high tech, comfortable and clean. Louise (Dr. Bradshaw’s personal assistant), and the clinic’s receptionists, Bernadette and Haley, are knowledgeable, welcoming and cheery.
