“Brilliant shop, but it went downhill for a time. The freezers were empty, so I stopped using it, I started going to Urmston, and the shop was packed out. The freezers were full, so that was my new go-to, so I thought I would give Eccles another try and guess what a new manager was in town and the shop was packed with great freezer products. So, five stars and a brilliant shop.”

“I had an incredible experience at the buffet! The food was top-notch—everything was fresh, and the variety was impressive. I especially appreciated the clean and inviting atmosphere, and the service was spot on. If they could add a few African dishes, like jollof rice, and improve the signage for the different menu areas, that would make it even better. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Caitlin. Overall, I can't thank them enough for a fantastic time!”

“I never knew looking for outdoor wear and equipment could be so thrilling! I'm more of a cruise kind of person but decided this year to take a risk and go camping in the Lake District - needless to say when it came to buying some stuff for the trip I was well out my depth! Fortunately I was aided by a lovely young girl with long black hair, I think her name was Charlotte or Chelsea. She had the real demeanor of a helpful young business salesperson . Cannot wait to frequent this wonderful shop again!”

Very impressed and happy with my experience.) - A great location on Deansgate. - I have been to a few branches of Caffe Nero in Manchester and am getting an impression that they are generally very friendly + the coffees are of a great taste.”

“To me, it is one of the best branches of Nero’s in the country. All the baristas here are decent and make tasty coffee and also very friendly. The menu was taken on 13 Apr 2024. Quiet, nice and cozy ambience. There are also four or five tables outside at the front and a couple more tables at the back. There are a few pay-at-machine parking spaces just outside the cafe and also two or three (non-free) parking lots around. (Browncross Street Car park is an expensive place and you might want to use Si P Spaw Street Arches Car park which is much cheaper. However, it is not so obvious where the boundary lies between the two car parks so watch out for it as there seem to be many people who got fined for wrong parking there.)”

“Just tried the Autumn Hazel Late! Bit sweet but definitely recommend! Like the relaxing vide,not a lot of people either. Great for someone who just wants to enjoy an afternoon snack or to do some creative writing.”

“This is my No.1 Costa, excellent service, excellent coffee and lovely staff, I've been to many a Costa in some supposedly "nicer" locations but usually its been appalling. This is the one if you want your moneys-worth! The staff work hard keeping the queue moving and the very fact the cafe is always packed shows how popular the place is.”

“Visited over Patrick’s weekend and really enjoyed liked the relaxed atmosphere. The place had plenty of screens showing the football, which was a nice. They also have Thief Street in the kitchen, the food was fantastic, great portion sizes and tasted delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. Drinks are on the pricey side, with a pint of Guinness costing £6.70, but since we’re not big drinkers, we just had one drink each so it didn't affect us too much”

“I've been going to this garage for over 3 years and they've always been great. They phone first before doing any work found during mot. I had an emergency with my car overheating and they fit me in on a Friday afternoon which was so kind. I feel that they are honest and the costs are reasonable and all the work they do is explained well when I have questions.”

“I have been registered with MyDentist Eccles for a few years now!! With the service I received in all that time was exceptional. From Dzsildiz Aszilbekova and Callum on reception and of course Laura Higham Deputy Manager. If all dental practices were to this high standard and people friendly the world would be a better place! I myself worked for a local hospital dentist trust in the community and they could learn a lot from the this dental practice Thank you”

“EDIT: just had a phone call this morning from Gina the salon owner, she has apologised and had offered for me to have my hair layered and re shaped at the front by Lauren ( who has so many lovely reviews), however I am going on holiday and wasn’t able to go in. Gina has tho offered for me to go back and have it done after my holidays which is very kind of her. She was lovely to speak to and I appreciate the phone call and the offer of a free hair cut. Thank you so much for calling, I appreciate it. I have given 5 stars for the way Gina has handled the situation and the customer service from her was great x Went it on Saturday 19/07/2025 for a wash, cut and blow. As soon as Gary seen me he just didn’t seem interested. I had extremely long hair and asked for a lot to be cut off with layers in the back and feathered into my face at the front. Gary was huffing and puffing through out my hair cut and kept making remarks about how my hair didn’t need to be that long. He gave me no layers as he thought it would make my hair thinner and the front were long layers that you could hardly see.. I came away feeling disappointed with my cut and £50 down the drain. I didn’t ask him to add any layers or cut my hair as I wanted it, as I just wanted to leave because he was making me feel uncomfortable. Even as he was brushing my hair after it was washed he was huffing all the way through cos it was long. He’s a hairdresser and should expect people to have long hair. Now I need to find someone professional to redo my hair and pay more money for something that should have done by Gary. I will end on a positive note tho, the lady that washed my hair was amazing , really lovely. If Gary could give her my £2 tip that would be amazing . The 2 stars is for the lady that washed my hair.”

“Clyde & Co were instructed by our insurance company to try to recover costs for subsidence caused by our neighbour (which happens to be a very big UK corporation); The neighbour had trees very close to our property which caused subsidence. Clyde & Co LLP managed to get a settlement from our neighbour which included our insurance excess which we are very happy with. “A great little stop off in Deansgate and time to take a coffee and a cake. Inside and outside sitting areas and lots of room. There are two bathrooms which are clean and multi gender for ease. Soft seating areas inside and tables with tables outside too on a large area if you want to take a smoke or something. Lots of cakes as usual in the shop and always freshly made as is the coffee”

“I love Heron Foods. I wouldn't use it instead of a normal supermarket but have some really nice stuff. I especially go when they have the baby food in as its alot cheaper than the supermarkets. For example the Heinz 1+ foods are 2 for £1 where it's £2 just for one in supermarkets I've also bought baby porridge of 39p each or 69p each and then the tubs of porridge which are normally £3 in supermarkets are £1 so saves me a heck of alot of money. They don't have baby food in all time though its one of those once its gone its gone and then they will bring stuff back in a month or so.”
