Quality steak in Manchester

“My daughter booked a birthday lunch for 4 persons at 2pm on Saturday. Food was well presented, tasty and hot. Good choice of starters and mains. Surprised, there were no desserts available, which was disappointing. Staff friendly and courteous. However, it would have been nice if they were slightly more attentive to check if we required any more drinks, etc. The restaurant needs some renovation as the seating and general decor looks very worn and tired. There is limited parking at the front. However, you can park on the adjoining streets.”

“I come to this takeaway on a Friday evening after my football training and I’m never left disappointed the food is amazing the staff are amazing. I’m always greeter by the same two gents and they always have smiles on there faces. As for the food well I’m never left waiting longer than expected and the food is always top quality. This will now be a regular thing on a Friday night due to how nice this takeaway is would 100% recommend eating from here.”

“Fantastic serloin steak for a work meeting out. Cooked perfectly with a nice intense charcoal flavour. The grilled halloumi with pesto was very nice touch, delicious. Very polite and attentive service in a comfortable environment. If I had to fault something my only grumble would be the long Island ice tea had too much lime which made the coke fizz flat and drink sharp (I am highly critical of cocktails)”

“Have been here multiple times and always get the chicken/beef fried ho fun and Hamon Style Vermicelli Noodles for a sweet and tangy taste. The food never disappoints. There is a huge variety of dishes to choose from. Ambience and atmosphere is cosy and authentic. Not an appropriate setting for a romantic date. The portions are large, can easily share 1 between 2.”

“The rooms are good for one or two nights if you have a day/night out in Manchester and you're not planning on spending much time in there. Small and basic but had everything we needed. Comfy, clean bed. Bear in mind that bathrooms are separate but there's one on each floor (so you'll be sharing with others. This wasn't a problem as there's not many people on each floor) The pub was a lot nicer than expected. It's great that you can roll out of bed and straight downstairs for breakfast (Decent full English and discount for guests) or have a quick drink before heading out. I did hear that one of the rooms didn't have blinds or curtains which could make for a difficult night's sleep. Bring ear plugs just incase. One side is quiet but our side was slightly noisy but was to be expected as Psych fest was on (which we attended and was great) we still managed to sleep quite well. The location is great! Really central and has a few bars nearby. There's a really nice brunch place across the road where they do good bloody Mary's. I'd definitely stay here again, it was great for the price and location. “My family and I attended for a birthday lunch, booked in advanced. This spot did not disappoint. Good vibes upon entry, very instagrammable. We were taken to our seats and tables were well laid out. Open kitchen at the FOH with plenty of seating upstairs. Mid meal: I was asked only once if all was good with the food and did not hover around us afterwards - the food was delicious btw! I got the: Creekstone fillet £45 - medium rare (perfect) Garlic mash - nice presentation, but few tiny lump Mushroom sauce - not bad (I’m very picky) Garlic butter - lovely and cute presentation My family were pleased with the food and service. Cheese burger spring rolls - highly recommend Beef Ribs - soft and amazing flavour profile Prawn spring rolls - really nice also Bang Bang Chicken - delicious but a bit too crispy Chips was not bad but could have been better Service: 3 people on the floor Saturday (Easter) around 2.30pm-3.30pm Ali was our host and was polite throughout, answered all our questions too! Overall, good vibes, nice service - an 8.9/10 easy! Will definitely go back to try other items and more steak of course! “Passed this restaurant many times between work and the hotel we use, always fancied it and this week we got the opportunity to take some customers for a meal. Great service, pleasant atmosphere and great cocktails and good choice of wines and beers. Seven of us enjoyed some great steaks, a chateaubriand was in the order and the sides and starters were all delicious. I had the Thai Garlic Prawns, great flavour and amazing taste, rib eye was cooked perfectly, plenty of choices of sides and sauces to enjoy. Well worth a visit if your in Stockton Heath or staying close by in The Park Royal or other hotels in the area.”

“The chicken at Del Capo is the best chicken we have had from a kebab takeaway! I get the loaded chips usually, this time I got a donner calzone as well (I share!) it was huge even though I only picked the 10" one. Stuffed to the brim with donner meat! My mum is very fussy but loves the chicken from here too. Highly recommend! I'll add photos next time I get one.”

“Beautiful food, my partner had a stack I went for surf and turf... Very nice.... They was a little under staffed due to ill staff,,, it was a Friday night! The young lady that seated us made us welcome and explained their situation...... We only waited 15 to order food was their in ample time and cooked to perfection...... Worthy of a visit if your in the area.”

“Excellent brunch on a Friday. Great service from all staff (Laura main server). Had the limited time bottomless pancakes. The bacon & maple pancakes were so good I had to have a second serving! Just the right amount of maple syrup to taste but without drowning the pancakes like lots of places. I also tried the strawberry & cream pancakes which were also great (couldn't finish them sadly). Plus had my favourite Raspberry Crush mocktail (the one with orange sorbet) which I'm so glad they brought back (it was on the menu for years but it disappeared for a while and recently returned). Great meal, good location too.”

“GREAT service from Leandro and delicious food. The cocktail menu is small but they are accommodating if you want to go off menu! The food exceeded all expectation, we had the calamari to share followed by chicken schnitzel. My only complaint was the waitress didn’t bring side plates or cutlery with the starter. Plenty warm enough sat outside and they even offered us blankets! I highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!”

Delicious kebab meat is full of flavour And only made better with a good helping of mint sauce .. chips are as you would think from any takeaway but cooked well And got a free meat samosa to try ... And have to say best meat samosa I've had from any takeaway in manchester Will be back again when up chester road. Thanks great food and very polite service from the staff ( possibly owners )”

“Walked in during a rainy day and didn’t wait to get a seat. The food here is fantastic! We had a steak sampler and had a chance to try all their three types of steaks. Sirloin is juicy and fatty while fillet is lean and tender! Our kid ordered a meal too, he’s main highlight is the brownie with ice cream. Although the Google indicate closing at 11, I overheard that they close at 10, just note that.”

“I can’t recommend this place enough! The customer service was absolutely outstanding and the food was excellent. I accidentally ordered two 12-inch pizzas instead of two 16-inch ones, and when I rang up to see if I could change it, the manager was incredibly kind and offered to give me two 16-inch pizzas free of charge. That level of generosity and customer care is rare these days, and it really made my experience memorable. The pizzas themselves were delicious – fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care. A big thank you to the team for going above and beyond. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family”

“Second time I’ve tried this chippy and both times have been great! Not sure where the bad reviews come from? Salt and pepper chips were nice and spicy and the mini veg spring rolls were perfect! Tried the curry sauce and battered sausage as well and they were great also! Will definitely be ordering from here again, our new favourite chinese!”
