Made this our local about 6 months ago and nowhere comes anywhere near to matching the friendliness of the staff and other locals. Fantastic atmosphere and a proper pub. Never have to wait long to be served, even when the place is rammed. Our nights out are always made more enjoyable, and our thirsts suitably quenched, by the fabulous Francesca and the rest of the friendly, amazing and eager bar staff.”

“Wonderful place with outdoor seating which has access to the canal. Good food, good service. You can sit outdoor for a long time. Had a wonderful evening with friends and family at this place. “Amazing experience as soon as we walked into the restaurant! Really pleasant atmosphere and it wasn't too busy either. Waiters we're marvelous, if they wore name tags I'd reference them here. Our main eaiter was a guy with short hair and glasses and he was really personable and just a nice guy. Same with our other waiter, both were great with kids around the place and were quite the multitaskers! Definitely come here again, we are leaving a tip! ❤️”

“Great food with a homely taste and affordable price. Worth trying We went as a group of 4 and tried pothi chor, chatti chor, kappa biriyani, appam and chicken stew. The rice dishes are really good and taste really fresh. Also tried their tea, coffee and lime juice.all were nice and the portion size meals and drinks are great. “Our favorite place for ribs! We always order buffalo ribs and were never disappointed. Great and fast service. Nice atmosphere. Just a note, they don’t serve any alcohol, but there are plenty places around if you want to go before or after. Looking forward to coming again.”

As a family we have been using their service for the past 4/5 yrs and have never been disappointed.. In fact we feel disloyal when ordering a Chinese takeaway. In this restaurant they are kind and efficient, their food is tasty and of good quality. The prices are of good value. “I visit this place on and off and despite the new trend being 'smashed burgers' at other takeaways, the burgers here are far more flavourful, tastier and much better value for money:-) I've recently got back into ordering kebabs from here and to me its clearly obvious that the meat they cook is top quality as its meaty and tasty and excellent value for money! The guys in the shop are always polite and provide service with a smile! In my opinion, this is the best takeaway in Stalybridge!”
