“We enjoyed a lovely Saturday evening at Rosa tonight. The food was lovely and tasty, however slightly slow being served but we were given some free olives to tide us by. We want to particularly point out the excellent service from all of the staff, especially from the main waiter (with the tattoos sorry didnt get his name). Very catering for children- they made particular effort to bring her food out first. We would definitely recommend and will return again”

“I popped in the other day on my work break and had the loveliest service from two members of staff. I believe he was called Kieran and a girl with really long red hair (sorry I've forgotten her name!) I'm vegan and the girl was really patient at explaining the milk alternatives, as well as recommending me a low caffeine blend. The coffee was delicious and the service brightened my day. I've often avoided chain cafes because they often lack a bit of soul/character, but this was definitely an exception - I'm looking forward to visiting again.”

Great veggie and vegan choices and sooo many gluten free options, most of the dishes looked like they could be done GF. Veggie burger and roast beef sandwiches both 10/10. “Excellent pub serving Cloudwater (a Manchester brewery) beers on draft and keg. Originally opened as a pop-up bar called the Pilcrow, but it became so popular that it became a permanent fixture. Large outdoor seating is perfect for those rare days when the sun comes out.”

“My recent dinner experience at The Rising Moon Restaurant Pub was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Everything, from the moment we walked in to the time we left, exceeded our expectations. The food was simply amazing. Every dish we ordered was prepared perfectly, delivered piping hot, and tasted incredible. It’s clear the kitchen takes great pride in the quality of their ingredients and cooking. Beyond the food, the atmosphere was delightful. There was a lively, warm buzz amongst the other diners, creating a very welcoming and comfortable environment that made our evening truly enjoyable. What really made the night memorable was the exceptional service provided by the entire team. All the staff members we interacted with were incredibly nice, polite, and attentive. In particular, I must give a special mention to Adam, who was truly great. Adam was not only very friendly and professional, but he went above and beyond to make our visit special. When he learned it was my mother's birthday, he kindly and thoughtfully brought out a slice of cake for her. This gesture of genuine care and attention made her day and demonstrated a level of service that is rarely seen. The combination of great food, wonderful atmosphere, and exemplary service ensures that we will definitely be returning to The Rising Moon Pub again very soon. “Our first time in a teppanyaki restaurant and we loved it! Food was deliciously cooked to perfection and our own personal chef was so friendly and made us feel at ease, the front of house and waiter were very welcoming, will be definitely be back for a 2nd visit. Thank you”

“Extremely friendly, smiley and helpful staff. A very warm welcome as I walked through the door. Clean, modern premises with Japanese style lucky cat artwork. A quiet, but slightly echoing atmosphere with background music that isn’t too loud and is quite mellow. Unagi Don: very sticky rice, rich and sweet sauce, flaky eel. Very tasty. Miso soup: well flavoured with a decent amount of seaweed and tofu. Chicken Karaage: succulent and very flavourful. Drunken Noodle with King Prawns, Shrimp, Mussels and Squid: The flat noodles were quite soft and easily breakable, but full of flavour and sauce which coated the seafood and vegetables very well. Dorayaki: not too sweet. A satisfying, no fuss, light dessert and the addition of chocolate sauce is a very complimentary flavour. Overall: a fair sized portion of good food at a reasonable price.”

“Excellent Italian with some unusual non standard dishes and specials plus an extensive drinks menu and wine list. We had a lovely evening and three course meal. Thought prices were reasonable too. Staff were very friendly. There's plenty of room between tables great for large parties too and a secure car park. No hesitation recommending will be back again soon.”

“If there was an option for 6 stars, this pub would get it. Came here after a walk in the area and walked in to friendly staff and a warm fire. It was a weekday so not so busy we got a table straight away. You think it can't get better. It does. The pie was amazing, mash was amazing and gravy was amazing too. The dishes were very tasty and mild spicy, and the portions were generous – you’ll need three or four plates per person to fill up. The prices were reasonable, and we paid £60 for two people. “I am from Arizona, but I served a Mormon mission here back in 1980 and this was the one place that had the best burgers in the world better than any that I have in America. And so literally I’ve been coming back for 43 years to this same place and same location. Their hamburgers and onion rings are second to none. And the lady that’s been serving us has been there 27 years, that’s crazy. When we bring my kids over and grandkids this is their favorite stop, we purchase takeout and then we walk across the street to the picnic tables and enjoy the best burgers around.”

“Like every saturday night just ordered from the Golden Inn tyldesley and as always the guy on the phone says "for rob yes? 10mins" Rob comes back all emotional with two bags, one with our food and one with a can of carling and a snickers bar. The family are going to china for christmas and the elderly lady wished him a merry christmas and a happy new year from the family, gave him the two bags and came round the front and hugged him.
