“I am from Arizona, but I served a Mormon mission here back in 1980 and this was the one place that had the best burgers in the world better than any that I have in America. And so literally I’ve been coming back for 43 years to this same place and same location. Their hamburgers and onion rings are second to none. And the lady that’s been serving us has been there 27 years, that’s crazy. When we bring my kids over and grandkids this is their favorite stop, we purchase takeout and then we walk across the street to the picnic tables and enjoy the best burgers around.”

A great selection of beers and larger, I had a glass of their Australian Shiraz, which was very nice; much nicer than what is usually served in pubs. Food is served using locally sourced produce. “One of the nicest Chinese around, the egg fried rice especially with little spring onion in it is the best I’ve ever tasted. The salt and pepper ribs are gorgeous, the curry is really distinctive too, it’s beautiful. How does this place not have more and better reviews, the quality of the Chinese food is so much better than anything around. Just such a shame you can’t have it delivered and it doesn’t open late.”
