The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we felt well looked after without ever being intrusive. It’s the kind of place where you can relax and really enjoy your meal. “Cracking place in an up and coming area of Stockport. Great vibe inside with plenty of seating. Good selection of food on the menu with gluten free option. Cocktails and wine choices. Service was quick, friendly, Wendy was just lovely and made us feel looked after, thank you! Lovely style of decor with art and lighting. Food was great and tasty, well presented. We had the tapas and cocktails. The squid was delicious! Very reasonably priced. Definitely going to return and good start to the evening before walking into the centre for drinks in other bars.”

“The food is made to order with fresh ingredients, the food is presented nicely and there is more than enough for 2 per course per person, the lady who took our order and served us was really nice and explained the dishes we was looking at and advised us on a few things as well, she took the time to have a chat with us inbetween courses, over all the food was excellent and we had food to take home with us too for later. There was only us in there so we had a good 2 hours to enjoy each course and enjoy our own company, we would definitely recommend to all our family and friends and we will be using this for our takeaway food as well as going back to eat in.”

What do you really need from a hotel, tidy, clean, great service, top breakfast, brilliant location. It may be a 3* in build but you are treated to a 5* stay!”

“YHA Manchester is an example of how a good hostel doesn't have to cost a lot. Large, bright and airy room for four people. The beds were solid, the only thing missing was curtains on the bunk beds for more privacy, but that's a minor detail. The bathroom was a good size, clean and looked new. The common areas are large and beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location near a train and tram station is great for a city the size of Manchester. The hostel has a view of part of the river canal, and having breakfast with this view was a bonus. I would definitely stay at this hostel again”
