“Amazing home cooked food, such great balanced flavours and truly delicious, healthy menu. Tasted like real Eastern European cooked in the home, which is actually what the lovely host told us: all cooked by his wife. Unbelievable desert, nothing was too heavy, but rich and layered tastes. Wine didn't disappoint either. Looking forward to trying again!”

“Last night, I called in for a takeaway pizza. There was a tiny issue with the timing as the place was so busy but it was absolutely nothing to concern myself about. But ,because of this, the young lady serving me, Victoria, could not have been more helpful. I left wood fire smoke with a smile on my face only get home to eat the usual delicious pizza that I always order. If you have never been to this restaurant, then it’s time you did. I wholeheartedly recommend it as the pizzas are the best in town and staff are lovely.”

“We had such a lovely experience here. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavour and really well prepared. The service was fantastic from start to finish – the staff were so kind, attentive, and especially thoughtful in accommodating a disabled person my mum, which made the evening even more enjoyable and comfortable. Their friendliness and care really stood out. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, although on a Friday evening it was a little on the noisy side – but that’s only because the place is clearly popular and full of people enjoying themselves. “I'd highly recommend eating at the Clink, the food was great and it was for a good cause. We would visit again if we're in the area. Perfect if you're visiting Quarry Bank. We had a lovely Sunday dinner here, with the lovely veg and roasties. The charred mackeral starter was marvellous, as was the panna cotta. The staff were pleasant, with great service and reasonable prices. Good toilet facilties, including disabled loo. Access ramp in place for wheeled entry, terrain mostly flat with parking located near the entrance”

We kicked things off with the starter platter, and honestly? Every single item stole a tiny piece of my heart. Fresh, bold, nothing hanging around in the kitchen too long—the dishes landed on our table quicker than my nephew spots Pidgey (my pet pigeon) on the bannister. Then came the lamb shank… unbelievably tender. It didn’t just “fall off the bone”—it practically handed in its resignation. Silky, rich, and cooked with the sort of patience I wish my smart meter had. My wife’s dishes were just as impressive. Every bite looked like it transported her somewhere peaceful—meat and chicken both juicy enough to make you rethink every dry dish you’ve ever tolerated in life. I didn’t manage to grab photos of everyone else’s food, but trust me, the table was full of happy faces and clean plates. If you’re thinking about coming here for dinner, do it. The food’s on point, the service feels natural, and the décor gives the place a warm, modern charm. Fully recommend.”

“This is without a doubt my favourite restaurant. So far, it is the only place I have found outside of Italy to serve fresh, authentic Italian foods. My partner is Italian, and hence a harsh critic. Casa Italia has won his approval and we both come here regularly. It is clear that the people posting negative reviews about frozen food have never eaten here. There is an open kitchen where you can watch the chef cooking delicious food, all from fresh ingredients. Service is attentive, the atmosphere welcoming, and the food exceptional. I would recommend anything on the menu. But for me, two stand out dishes are the polpette Di carne (beef meatballs with a cheese centre) and the formaggi fusi (a bubbling dish of melted Italian cheeses)”

“First time here and it didnt disappoint! Great service and great food! Steak was cooked to perfection, corn ribs were yummy and the half rack of ribs were super tasty! Had a chocolate milkshake for dessert too! Overall good value for money! Car park gets a bit hectic at busy times but still seemed to be spaces available.”

“been to Caramello for their Sunday roast, I had their roast chicken, which was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. Paired with crispy roast potatoes, fresh vegetables, and a rich, savory gravy, creating the ultimate comfort meal. Their pistachio & raspberry was fantastic, just the right balance of flavors. If you’re looking for a top-notch Sunday roast, I highly recommend Caramello. I’ll definitely be back!”

If you want great food and perfect service, this is where you need to go. Eating here is a wonderful experience from start to finish. ​The main dish, the Qabli Pilau, is the star. The rice is cooked perfectly and smells so good with spices like saffron. The lamb underneath is super soft and falls apart easily—it practically melts in your mouth! The sweet carrots and raisins mixed in taste fantastic and make the dish complete. It's truly delicious and comforting food. ​The grilling here is also top-notch. The Grilled Chicken and all the Kababs are cooked perfectly. They have a great smoky taste and a little crispiness on the outside, but the meat inside is still incredibly juicy and tender. They use great spices, and every bite is full of real, traditional flavor. ​And let's talk about the service—it's honestly the best service I've ever had. The staff are so nice, professional, and genuinely happy to help. Our server knew everything about the menu and was quick and helpful without rushing us or getting in the way. ​Aljazeera gets everything right: amazing, real food and incredible customer care. “Wow what can i say we had our wedding here 2 weeks ago and it really was the perfect venue. Lucy was amazing and really helpful during the planning and on the day everything went exactly as it should all the staff were amazing on the day! jake was so helpful the night before accomadating a big party for food and was amazing on the wedding day too. John our master of ceromonies was fabulous too. All guests commented on how lovely there room was. We used the Delamere suite to get ready and for our wedding night and it was perfect. “Unbelievable food made to order. So tasty and fresh. I have been twice now and both times have been spot on, service consistently great. My only negative is the location of the customer toilet being through the kitchen, but that’s not enough to put me off due to everything else being fab.”

“Very good service from the waiters. The food is pretty good. The fried chicken has a lovely coating and is very crispy with very juicy meat underneath. The coconut rice is fragrant with coconut but also it is not sticky. A very interesting texture I don't usually have. The sambal taste amazing. Lovely flavours of the anchovies. The chicken satay was the best I had so far compared to the supermarket stuff. Proper char and the peanut sauce taste great. I'm really happy that the sambal was not spicy not because I can't tolerate spice but it's because I can taste the flavours. Not a criticism but the price is very high. So if you got the money, go for it.”

“If I were to describe Manjaros in a nutshell, I'd say it was Nandos with a twist. There are a few different options from the traditional grilled chicken which are worth trying. The prices are steep, but the portions are very large and you need to have a very large appetite to finish your plate completely! You also get enough seating for large groups as well as proper table service with waiters and everything - something which really sets the experience apart. Look out for the excellent discounts that may pop up from time to time, making this place incredibly good value. If you enjoy this sort of cuisine, I suggest you give it a shot. It's well worth it. Oh, and it can get quite busy so to avoid disappointment make sure you call up and reserve a table before visiting.”
