“Dishoom Spinningfields is one of my favourite restaurants in Manchester. When it first opened back in 2018, it was Dishoom’s first restaurant in Northern England, and since then they’ve set a remarkable standard of both food and service quality and certainly left me coming back for more. The interior is super impressive, cool and unique. Dishoom is based on the old Irani cafés in Bombay, and the interior is so large and feels like no other restaurant in the city. My go-to dishes are the Chicken Ruby with Basmati Rice and occasionally the Gunpowder Potatoes. The portion sizes are generous, and the rich spices of the curry are super good — it’s obvious they use great quality ingredients and seasonings. For drinks, again the selection is vast, with my favourites being the regular Chai and the Mango Lassi, which are both really good. There is always a staff member walking around topping up tap water, so you’ll never go thirsty. The pricing is a little high, but I feel it is worth it for the quality. Matka Holders can also roll a dice at the end of their meal to potentially earn everything for free, food and alcohol included, during certain times. This makes it all fun, being able to put the meal on the roll of a dice. Due to having an allergy, I can scan a QR code on the menu for the latest information, and all the staff members are well trained in dealing with allergies. They’re aware of coeliac disease and the danger of cross-contamination, and always keep my items separate from my friends’ when I dine in a group. Overall, this is one of the places to be in Manchester if you’re looking for good food with fantastic allergy awareness, overall ambience/vibes, food and service quality. It’s a place that you can go for a special occasion or even a quick lunch (although a lunch menu / meal-deal offer would make it even more enticing for sure!).”

“Wagamama at The Trafford Centre is exactly what you expect, and that’s a compliment! The energy here is infectious—it’s busy, as is expected in such a massive and popular shopping centre, but the team handles it brilliantly. We experienced fast, efficient service despite the crowds, which is a testament to the staff and management. Most importantly, the food is, as always, amazing and consistently tasty. They deliver on their promise of fresh, delicious Asian-inspired food every time. If you need a reliable, quick, and satisfying meal while shopping, this is definitely the place to go. “Been coming here since it first opened, it's a great place for a variety of Japanese food, honestly the vegan/vegetarian sweet potato katsu is PHENOMENAL! I'm not even vegetarian and it's so good, plus the rest of the food is on point. I took a group of my friends and we ordered a great variety, I've no complaints really!”

“A great, friendly pub, for everyone. Warm in winter, if you’re trying to save on heating come and have a pint instead for not much more. Also shows all the football without feeling like that sort of place. Newly added beer garden is great.”

“Had a great experience at Nando’s. Ordered the half chicken, coleslaw, and halloumi, and honestly everything was banging — perfectly cooked, fresh, and full of flavour. Special shoutout to Haris, who was absolutely top-tier. Super friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell he actually cares about customer service, which makes a big difference. Food was spot on, service was excellent, and the vibe was great. Will definitely be coming back.”

“Really enjoyed the vegan deep dish pizzas. You can get a full one or by slices. Slices are half price at the moment. The mushroom pizza was my favourite (I ate so quickly I forgot to take a photo of it haha). All very flavourful, staff super friendly and a nice atmosphere. I was really sad to see on their Instagram they will be closing soon. I really hope they reopen or keep open altogether. Also had a Spritz on the bar, which was £5 Mon to Sat until 7:30pm.”

“Excellent, authentic curries. The dishes are all so full of flavour and so distinct. Often with takeaway curries, you find the sauces are all very generic. My son really loves the child friendly curry. So useful to be able to reheat when you need it. Would really recommend”

“It is one of the best pizzerias in town, if not the best. The pizzas are piping hot, fresh, well prepared with love and passion. I had had their Pepperoni, Tandoori Chicken and Jerk Chicken pizzas previously and they were all scrumptious and flavorsome, highlighting their commitment to making a pizza most suitable for your appetite. I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a place with not only good-quality but freshly served pizzas with an absolutely lovely and cordial atmosphere thanks to the wonderful people running the place! “Last night, I called in for a takeaway pizza. There was a tiny issue with the timing as the place was so busy but it was absolutely nothing to concern myself about. But ,because of this, the young lady serving me, Victoria, could not have been more helpful. I left wood fire smoke with a smile on my face only get home to eat the usual delicious pizza that I always order. If you have never been to this restaurant, then it’s time you did. I wholeheartedly recommend it as the pizzas are the best in town and staff are lovely.”

“Super Smash makes amazing burgers! We tried the Pachos Smash Up, Juicy Lois, and the Original Crispy Chicken Burger. The Pachos Smash Up was our favourite, crispy chicken and juicy beef in one burger! Everything here is fresh because they grind their own meat and mix it themselves. You can really taste the difference. We’ll definitely be back!”
